Can’t wait to hang this beauty in our home 🤍

My latest find is this work by New York artist Evan Sebastian Lagache.
@evanlagache

Evan describes his practice as “Abpsychism” - a dialogue between abstract painting and the inner workings of the human psyche, shaped by emotion. His work draws from New York and the tension between the structure and chaos of the city.

He works across acrylic, oil, ink, graphite, collage and even fire, building layered surfaces that feel somewhere between landscapes and psychological spaces.

Swipe for a little glimpse into the making of his works + some of my favorite details.

Transforming routine into art, one detail at a time. Here is a look inside the blueprint of a well-lived life:
* 01 / Mindful Morning: Starting with intention before the world makes demands.
* 02 / Form Meets Function: Designing spaces that restore energy rather than steal it.
* 03 / Curated Days: Choosing quality over chaos, every single time.
* 04 / The Unseen Work: Building systems behind the scenes so peace comes naturally.
* 05 / Evening Reset: Closing the loop to make space for tomorrow.
Your environment is either building your future or holding you to your past. Choose by design, not by default.

That’s a wrap on Foot in the Door 🦶🚪

Thank you to everyone who came, connected, and supported the show. A huge thank you to our incredible artists, to Thingycafe for the wonderful catering, and to Arbeit Studios for the space.

But this isn’t the end.
The exhibition lives on online. We’ll be displaying work from all 18 artists who took part, and you’ll be able to explore, purchase, or commission directly through our platform.

We’ll also be sharing exclusive artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from the show through our editorial series, Before They’re Gone. Hear from the artists themselves.

If you have any enquiries, reach out anytime through our platform (link in bio) or email us at info@thuntitledgallery.org

We did it.

Foot in the Door opened last weekend, and we’re still processing the warmth, the energy, and the sheer joy of seeing so many people come together around art.

This show was about beginnings and it really felt like one. Artists from Germany, the US, France, Japan, China and across the UK trusted us with their work. Guests arrived curious and left connected. Conversations flowed. Laughter echoed. Voices were heard.

From the hours of installation and code that brought exhibition QR codes to life to the team that curated the space, this was a labour of love.

Moments that stood out were multiple guests saying how “comfortable and welcome” they felt in the space we had cultivated. That’s the culture we’re building. Not a cold white box, but a space where art, artist, and audience meet as equals.

We are so grateful to every artist who took the leap, every guest who showed up and our incredible partners who made this possible. And finally, to each other, for believing in this vision and refusing to let go.

Foot in the Door was just the first step. There is so much more to come.

Tag yourself in the comments, we’d love to see your perspective. App link in bio for the full exhibition experience and a new way to connect with the artists from our collective.

Still buzzing from our group show!

When I came up with the name
Friends From New York while living in Berlin in 2007, the dream was to bring my artist friends from New York to the world.

To celebrate the underground creatives shaping our city.
The people giving New York its style, grit and flavor.

@guessnyc
Chance Lord was always one of the people I imagined doing that with.
One of my oldest friends whose work carries New York in every line.

All these years later, the dream came true!

The second I met @grimacenyc and the
Art Nite collective,
I recognized the same spirit.
Real talent, artistic freedom, and a love for the streets that raised us.

Thank you Art Nite for trusting FFNY,
building with us, and helping create something that truly felt for the people, by the people.

And Thank You to every artist, friend, and supporter who came through and made it a
NY Nite!
And our awesome sponsors
@williamsburgpizza @drinkmothersmilk and MoonDog Cannabis
And the illest graf dream @graffitiplus.io
for the fun!
Plus the incredible sounds from the lovely @themaddylane and legend himself @xplargepro
The show is up till weds!
Go peep it in Bushwick @selva_nyc
And let’s do it again soon!
