These two pictures seem small and simple, but behind them are a million stories about a few lives that God stitched together. When I was a naive little kid I used to tell people when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up that I wanted to be a Batesville Pioneer Basketball player. That dream didn’t look like what I thought it would, and some would look at the results and call it a failure, but I know the truth: that growing up with these guys through a basketball journey that was 110% different than that of anyone else in the history of high school sports, every day spent with this group of people was a win, and every story that only us who were there can see in this picture was worth more than any point ever scored on the basketball court. Thank you God for pioneer basketball, I’d never trade a moment of it for the world. 🖤25🧡
