It’s been a few days since my last youth baseball game, and it still doesn’t feel real. After 11 years, 3 different teams, 4 high school seasons, and 1 Filipino World Series, my youth baseball days are officially over.

I would first like to thank God for giving me the ability to play this game for the last 11 years. I want to thank my parents for all the support and sacrifices they made to allow me to play, without them none of it would have been possible. Last but not least, my coaches and teammates for having my back through blazing hot or freezing cold, no matter hitting .400 or .200, and through every win or loss.

A special thank you to Coach Kevin and Coach Donny in Pickering for believing in me at a young age and building the beginning of my baseball fundamentals. Thank you to the entire Markham Mariners Elite coaching staff and my teammates for an amazing 3 years at the elite level. And thank you to Coach Ryan for giving me the opportunity to represent Team Philippines Canada at the Filipino World Series in LA.

This game has taught me so many life lessons that go far beyond the two white lines on the field and lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Baseball has given me countless memories, both on and off the field, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

It’s safe to say I will miss this game tremendously. Thank you to everyone who I met along the way and made it memorable. It’s been a crazy journey, and I can confidently say I gave it everything I had.

Thank you, youth baseball #2 signing out❤️⚾️

Thank you youth baseball for the best 13 years a kid could ask for. From shwa to stros and saints it’s been a pleasure to put on the jersey every game and play the sport I love. Wish everyone nothing but the best for the future. Love y’all. #19out ❤️
