Coming in to UTC I didn’t know what to expect, there were nerves and excited ideas of what was to come but I had no idea how much my life would change. I had felt a distance in my relationship with God for the past couple of months that I didn’t know how to rekindle because I didn’t think I was worthy of His forgiveness, grace, or love. By night three we had a seminar about Relationships, that’s when God met me on the floor of a theatre as I was on my knees kneeling in prayer crying out to Him in repentance. I had never felt His presence this way before, my soul was calm. In an instant I felt peace and love being freed of my sin and my pride. I was taught that no matter your sin or your performance whether that’s sport or just obedience to Christ, you are never out of reach of the forgiveness, grace, and love our Father has for us.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭38‬

I am so beyond thankful to be able to leave so much different than I was found coming into this camp. I want to thank my Metro Detroit AIA community (shout out UTCBBC) for constantly having me covered in prayer and always being there when I needed a laugh or someone to lean on. This experience has truly changed my life and the way I view myself and my sport. I am more than an athlete I have found my identity in Christ as a Child of God.

The Lord has moved me in many ways this week. Thank you Almighty God for putting these beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ in my life!!! In Acts 1:8 Jesus promises to his disciples that you will receive the power of the Holy Spirit which will empower you to spread Gospel. This is what moved me the most and pushed me through the suffering that The Ultimate Training Camp had to offer and for that I am forever blessed! Thank you team 19 and team 37 for giving me the opportunity to grow in Christ with you. I will never forget my time here Lord and I give my life to you! Amen. #whatsgood #godsgood

Words can not begin to describe the experience I had this past week at @theultimatetrainingcamp , I learned how to rejoice in suffering along side growing incredible friendships with the community I was in. This camp allowed me to learn how to be a better ambassador of Christ and these countless memories would not be a thing if it wasn’t for the donations , prayers, and Jesus so thank you everyone. #ao1 #agtg
