TLDR; mollykpowers.com is LIVE and Roberts Design Studio made it! I met Evan on the internet through a mutual affinity ten years ago. We became friends. Over the last decade, we’ve stayed in touch, through college, moves, new jobs, covid, birthdays. Mainly, though, through the internet. We’ve always believed more in its positive use cases than its negatives. Thinking of our phones as tools, archives, networks that can expand our lives. We’ve shared countless links back and forth to each other: songs, videos, quotes, websites, profiles. Looking back, we’ve woven our own World Wide Web. The past month, he’s been building me a website. From scratch, as a passionate and talented designer does. As someone who has no language for design, he made it easy for me. And if you know me, you’ll recognize it as mine right away. The site is the bag I leave the house with everyday: Notebook, Headphones, Phone, Scraps. It’s everything I’m taking with me to the deserted island. It’s my brand! Go play around with it (link in bio) and know that it’s all API’d out, meaning it’ll get updated all the time! Just like us. Let Evan and me be an example that not everything on the internet is fake if you’re being real. *** I’ve always wanted a website. If you’ve always wanted one too, reach out to @evanroberts who builds sites like mine all the time. Tell him MP sent ya.
