Pardon my camera work, I’m not the best! But such a memorable performance by Tank and the Bangas with the Louisiana Philharmonic being led by Evan Rodier. This is one of my favorite arrangements I did with this amazing group. Hope you enjoy!!

Amazing show last night starring Tank and the Bangas, Dawn Richard, Pell and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra led by Evan Roider. Amazing arranging and orchestrating of Dawn Richard’s work by Hannah Yim - a talented musician, violinist and great person. I had the honor of tackling Tank’s arrangements and orchestration. The LPO crushed the show, all mixed live by Misha Kachkachishvili owner of Esplanade Studios in New Orleans.

Celebrating the first day of autumn by remembering the best summer I ever had. Seriously. So many good things: symphony dates with San Diego Symphony, Grant Park Music Festival, Colorado Symphony, San Bernardino Symphony, Plymouth Philharmonic , Steamboat Springs, and Ocean City; a new Spot-On website; a concert film on Apple TV; a CD release with the St Louis Symphony on Apple Music; a fantastic trip to Greece (and Paris); a weekend at the Jersey Shore; a wedding in Spokane; and the successful world premiere of “Corner of the Sky: The Songs of Stephen Schwartz” at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Truly the best summer ever. Grateful for it all.

🎶 TSO Principal Pops Conductor Evan Roider

As Evan Roider begins his inaugural season with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra this November, he’s inspired by the musicians’ unwavering commitment to every performance from classical masterworks to Pops concerts. ✨

That dedication reflects Roider’s own belief: every concert deserves the highest standard of musicianship. It’s a philosophy that will help shape our new chapter in TSO Pops LIVE@TheRonstadt!

Last night, we gathered in music, remembrance and community. 💙

Together, Sarasota Orchestra and Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall presented Summon the Heroes, a commemorative benefit concert honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and paying tribute to the first responders, service members and everyday heroes who continue to serve our communities.

But this special evening was about more than remembering - it was about supporting the heroes in our community today. Proceeds from the concert will benefit four local charities: Resilient Retreat, Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Charitable Foundation, Sarasota Firefighters Benevolent Fund and Sarasota Police Foundation, helping support those who serve and care for our community every day.

We are deeply grateful to Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Gulf Coast Community Foundation, and Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation for helping make this meaningful evening possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Van Wezel - neighbors, friends and music lovers who came together to affirm that our community is always stronger, more connected and more resilient when we stand together.

I’m honored to be joining @sarasotaorchestra this week for an evening of iconic orchestral music and patriotic classics honoring the first responders who serve our community every day. Preparing this music has expanded my heart with gratitude for our beautiful country filled with amazing human beings!

“As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we’re turning reflection into action: proceeds from ticket sales will benefit four local organizations supporting Sarasota’s firefighters, deputies, officers, paramedics and dispatchers. Join us in saying thank you through the power of music!”
