As we’re packing up Evan to make the move to Austin, I thought the second would be easier but apparently not. I am so thankful for the kids God has blessed us with, which makes it that much harder to let go. I’m learning that 2 things can be true at the same time: 1) Being excited about what the future holds and 2) navigating the very personal change of our kids becoming thriving adults independent of Jenny and me. Being a dad is the best hardest thing and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
