It truly was such an honor portraying 'Ike Turner' in TINA the Tina Turner Musical ✨

That's hard work! But it went so fast to me.
All those cities & stages, all those audiences, and all those roads traveled was such a way to feel alive and present.

To the company of TINA, my beloved co-performers, the stage crew, stage management, and production management: Thank y'all for such an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. What we accomplished together was/is beautiful. I love y'all frfr!!

Darilyn Darling listen, YOU?...YES. 🤣. I don't take lightly how you have trusted me as your scene partner and always gave me my flowers while handling this role as Ike. But you as our Tina? You have snatched this role right off the page and personified the true essence of the things Tina Turner herself represented. Honor, love, femininity, superstar-dom, etc, And I as an artist thank you.

Jordan Hankerson I wouldn't have gotten thru this tour without you my friend. Thank you for caring about me in such a way I wouldn't expect someone that is not related to me by blood has. Our adventures and excursions have been the best times of my life, seriously.

Ill do my best to tag you all, cause each and every one of you folks was super nice and gave me so much love, I just hope I rose to the occasion on making sure you all felt seen, respected, and loved in return.

Thank you Ms. Tina for this story. You were such a light in a dark universe, we had the privilege of sharing your light, and I will never take that for granted.

March 4th 2025, I left my job of 3 years and took a leap of faith to join @tinabroadway as a swing. Never could have imagined ending this journey as a Tina.

Forever grateful for this chapter🫶🏽

@tinaturner @tinathemusical at the @tillescenter was electric, with powerful performances that had the entire crowd on their feet from start to finish. With spectacular costumes, dynamic sets, and unforgettable music, it is truly a must see.

There will be a plethora of posts to come, but I need y’all to know it is very hard to surprise me. I hate attention and never want anyone going out of their way for me. I’m so grateful my sisters didn’t listen 😂
I was doing really well holding it together (for the most part). They got me. Really, really good.

To be honored, recognized and supported by my peers is the highest honor. To work with this cast, band and (most of) the crew these past few months was the greatest honor. Last night was the best I’ve ever done that show. I hope you all felt that. Something magical happened last night. I’ll always carry that with me.

Darilyn @deeznotes__ , Eva @evaruwe and Brooke @brookeaneece : You are my sisters for life. I’m still finding the words for how much you mean to me. The love and care you’ve poured into me has never gone unnoticed. I’ve grown by simply being near you, listening to your stories, watching you move and create on stage.

I’m still learning how to let myself be celebrated, and how to celebrate myself. But I will carry this moment with me. Thank you for loving me.

There’s something so beautiful about tears that come from joy and pride. (Thank you @purepassion01 for getting this)
