EVE BUCKLEY (@evebuckley_) speaks about if she find her way to music or if the music found her: „It’s just always been a prominent thing in my life and has been a part of who I am since I was really young. I watched my brother play in bands when I was growing up so that inspired me to want to be on stage and my favourite thing to do every car journey was learn the CD’s in my Mum’s car back to front. I just wanted to sing all the time and it’s always been really cathartic for me.”

🔎 Leeds based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Eve Buckley combines a rich hybrid of alternative-soul and jazz infused pop. Capturing the tapestry of notions that arise as a woman navigating young adulthood, her timeless vocals and sentimental soundscapes echo influences such as Lianne La Havas, Jordan Rakei and Yazmin Lacey. Eve also talks about what she always puts a lot of effort into:

„It would unfortunately have to be my hair because I am literally addicted to diffusing it and using 1 million products. My hairdresser introduced me to a wavy hair routine and that was it. @lucymayhair love you.“ 🗣️

Finally, the artist speaks about what she would like to experience again for the first time: „Probably playing my first sold out headline show. When I first started releasing music I had no idea if the songs would find people or go anywhere and 6 months later to be in a room full of people who have connected with what you’ve made is a feeling that can’t be matched.“

🎷 A little more JAZZ, BLUES & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN… 🎶

One weekend. So many incredible musicians. And far too many photos that I loved to choose from! 😂
So here’s another little collection from the Jazz & Blues Festival — from soulful vocals and screaming guitars to saxophones, acoustic sets and those moments when the crowd gets completely caught up in the music. ❤️
But here’s the challenge… 👀
👉 Swipe through and tell me which photo is your favourite!
Is it 1, 2, 3… or maybe one further along?
I genuinely want to know which one grabs you. 📸👇
And if you spot yourself, your favourite musician, or someone you know… tag them! ❤️
Which number gets your vote? 🎶👇

FINAL LINE UP & LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY!!

After five incredible years, the Pealie’s team is stepping away from running the Barn. And that makes this year’s Origin Festival, 12th & 13th September, a particularly special one.

It will be the final event organised by the Pealie’s team, so we’re determined to make it one to remember. We’re expecting this one to sell out, so if you’ve been thinking about coming, don’t leave it too late.

Set at Cockleberry Farm, East Cowton, North Yorkshire, Origin is a weekend of music, creativity, connection and one last big celebration of everything we’ve built together.

The lineup features Toucan, Flat Moon, Bau Cat, Eve Buckley, SHINDIG, Frolic Acid, Romy Taylor, Honeylight, Hayley McKay and more, alongside artisan food, local drinks, camping, market stalls, hidden disco, fire poi, floral and foraging experiences, projections, collaborative painting, axe throwing and funk & soul DJs into the night.

Sunday is all about slowing things down, with breakfast, yoga, sound baths and live music from Caitlin Morrow and more.

And of course, this weekend is about more than just the incredible lineup.

To everyone who has visited Pealie’s, supported us, performed, organised, worked, volunteered, helped out, danced, laughed, cried or simply spent time here over the last five years - thank you.
