One of the sweetest moments from the wedding was their reveal to their families. Seeing both families in awe, taking in the moment, made it such a heartwarming start to their special day. And of course, the day had its share of fun, too, from the best man’s mini bottles strapped to his belt to a toast from the newlyweds and a grand exit through a tunnel of sparklers! 🥂✨ Thank you, Meaghan & Ryan, for trusting us to capture these memories. Wishing you a lifetime of love and laughter! What lie have you believed? Lately, I’ve been thinking about how easily comparison can change the way we see ourselves and the things we create. While editing this wedding, I caught myself comparing my work to @danielpullen - I do it all the time 🙂 Who got the “better” shot?? And suddenly I realized how close-minded that way of thinking is - and how it totally cripples me. We photographed the same day, but we each saw it differently. We noticed different things, were drawn to different moments, and told the story through our own creativity. And when I step back and look at our work together, it’s really beautiful. Why do I so often look for ways to measure my work against someone else’s instead of appreciating what we each bring to the table? My friend @iva.brooke has taught me a lot recently about being my authentic self, - not intentionally mind you, just by being herself - and I know that phrase gets thrown around a lot, but I think there’s something really important in it. God made each of us with different gifts, perspectives, experiences, and ways of seeing the world. We’re not meant to be the same. And someone else being good at what they do doesn’t make me any less valuable in what I do. Parts of a whole. Different parts of the body, each with its own purpose. I have to remind myself of this often, but I don’t want to believe the lie that I have to be anyone else or create anything like anyone else to be good at what I do. I just want to keep learning, keep growing, and keep trusting the way I was made to see the world. 🤍 Huge thank you to @_anutt for giving me so much space to be me this day!! Thank you!! 🙏💜 . And the music choice? Little know fact about me… since Jackson introduced me to lo fi years ago, it’s all I listen to when I’m editing.!😊 . #outerbanks #weddingphotography #confessions #photographer #hatteras

Allie and Andrew got married during one of the worst nor’easters we’ve seen in a while, in an area only accessible by driving on the beach, which was only possible during low tide. The wind was howling, the sky was gray. We showed up expecting a bummed out couple. Who we met was the total opposite - all smiles, good vibes, just stoked to be getting married. That evening, the wind dropped out somehow and the sky exploded into one of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen. What a memorable day. Love and positivity will always be rewarded. Hell yeah Allie and Drew!

Some weddings call for a slightly different lens. 🖤🌲 Sara & Adam came to us with a very clear vision: moody, cinematic, woodsy, editorial, and full of genuine moments. So we leaned into it. We chased the quiet moments in the woods. We looked for the laughter between the posed photos. We played with creative angles and documentary-style frames. And as the evening came in, we brought in just a touch of on-camera flash. The result is a gallery that feels a little different—and completely true to them. That’s one of the things we love most about wedding photography: every couple gives us a new story to tell. Congratulations, Sara & Adam. 🤍 Venue | WildFlower Estate Planner | Eventfully Yours Photographer | Arbor Lane Studios DJ | Darling Wedding Productions Florist | Flowers by Alison Cake | Cake Art #weddings2026 #arborlanestudio #wildflowerestate #wildflowerestatewedding weddingphotographer Maryland wedding photographer | Maryland wedding | Delaware wedding photographer | Delaware wedding | Virginia wedding photographer | Virginia wedding | Wildflower Estate | Wildflower Estate Wedding

There’s a question wedding photographers get asked sometimes: Can you tell when a couple is really going to make it? And the answer is yes. You see it in the way they find each other. Mike told me first thing Friday morning that he was already an emotional wreck, and he wasn’t exaggerating. He cried at their first look, when Lindsay came down the aisle, during their vows. And all day, even surrounded by the people they love, Lindsay and Mike kept finding each other. Across cocktail hour. Across a packed dance floor. In the middle of one of the biggest celebrations of their lives, they still just wanted to be together. Years ago, these two came down from New Jersey to play The Links at Ocean City for Lindsay’s birthday and joked, what if we got married here someday? Someday turned into a vividly blue-and-green September wedding on the Eastern Shore, with portraits on the 18th green, soft hydrangeas and coastal details, Lindsay’s boys beside them, and one seriously good party overlooking Ocean City. A first look at Lindsay + Mike’s coastal Maryland wedding at The Links at Ocean City. A little editorial, a lot candid, and so unmistakably them. 🤍 Venue: @lighthousesoundrestaurant Planners: @eventfullyyoursmd Photographer: @silverorchardcreative Content Video: @contentbyliz_ Makeup: @mybeautyandesthetics Hair & Makeup: @beyond.the.updo Flowers: @pitcherspetals DJ: @vivideventservices Dress: @lovelybridephilly Couple: @mmckenty11 @mrslindseymckenty #MarylandWeddingPhotographer #OceanCityMarylandWedding #EasternShoreWedding #MarylandWeddingPhotography #CoastalMarylandWedding Maryland wedding photographer, Ocean City Maryland wedding photographer, The Links at Ocean City wedding, Lighthouse Sound wedding, Eastern Shore Maryland wedding, coastal Maryland wedding photography, golf course wedding Maryland, editorial Maryland wedding photographer, candid wedding photography Maryland
