The number one question we get asked is how long it will take us to set up a grazing table. Some venues limit how much time vendors have for set up.

How to Plan the RIGHT Proposal To The Love of Your Life:⁣

✨ Know their style!! If they're more shy and prefer to keep things intimate, then consider proposing at home, rent a private space or choose a location with less people. If they don't mind people in the background, then you can think about proposing at their favorite restaurant or place!⁣

✨ If you choose to have a photographer and/or videographer, remember to always communicate with them your plan and any last minute changes. We need to be prepared so that we can act accordingly. ⁣

✨ Write out what you'd like to say. The nerves will get you, and suddenly your mind goes blank. ⁣

In the end though, go with the moment that you feel is right. What's most important is that you get to marry your partner and be with them forever. Don't overthink and just do it 🍾

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍

One of my favorite things about bijou is the community and network I’ve built from it! I’ve been able to meet & engage with so many inspiring women!! Some of my biggest inspirations:

@thetravelingstem- We both started our business around the same time and I love being able to discuss & brainstorm our business ideas!

@alwaysyoursbakerycafe- we met through a mutual friend a few years back & then worked together back in my foodie influencer days. Since then, she’s opened a storefront and is almost outgrowing that space after only a few months!!

@dippedbayarea- I started off as just her customer but we’ve built a friendship through the many collabs we’ve done! She also opened a storefront in the middle of the pandemic all by herself!!!

@shopwildrina- Britt is my inspo when it comes to aesthetics & branding!! She literally has my dream wardrobe/style and quit her marketing job to jump full time into entrepreneurship!

@thelittlebaker_sj- Tina is doing so amazing for herself as a small business and has built up a huge following because of her super cute creations! Her style and aesthetic is so cute and unique and I can’t wait to see how her business continues to grow!

@yjl.events- my business bestie, who started this business together with me. We brainstormed everything together, came up with our business names & branding together, and she has now successfully pivoted into being a wedding planner!

It's the season of proposals and engagements 💍⁣

Reminiscing this proposal that took place on an actual warm and sunny day in Half Moon Bay. For anyone that lives near or is aware of HMB, you know that the weather is often gloomy or cloudy. But A + P's proposal, we were gifted with sun and barely any wind.⁣

Proposal Tip: Definitely know your person and their style before proposing to them:⁣
⭐ Would they want close family and friends there?⁣
⭐ Are they extremely private and wouldn't want anyone else?⁣
⭐ Would they prefer to be dressed up or super casual (if a photographer/videographer were hired)⁣
⭐ Out in public or somewhere more intimate?⁣
⭐ Would they want a photographer or videographer to document it?⁣

Huge congrats in order to Ayushi + Pranil for becoming engaged! Pranil really worked hard on setting up the proposal and making sure everything was in order for Ayushi. She walked down a path with lights and easels detailing their relationship over the years, and it ended with a picnic setup.⁣⁣
