Behind the scenes photos (1/2) of my VCA Capstone film, “Where’d You Go, Emily?” 🩵✨

I’m still bewildered by the amount of care and consideration that went into every minuscule aspect of this story. Every question we asked, and choice we made, we put under a microscopic lens of “how does this make us feel?” which became our North Star through every challenge and setback we faced.

Every day of this production could’ve felt like the end of the world, and my gratitude is endless for every single person on this team who showed resilience, and a consistent dedication to the story. The four days we spent making this film, had me feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.

All the love, talent, and emotion manifesting on this set, bleeds through every second of this film like magic.

We had the opportunity to speak with creatives from across our community about Heretica, their experiences in the industry, and the change they want to see.

The response was genuinely incredible. It reinforced exactly why we’re building Heretica, this is something our industry needs, wants and is ready for.
