Last Sunday (Oct 18th), I was sorta a social butterfly at the #BetheChange event at the pocket park on Protor Ave, Scottdale, GA. It was uplifting, and it was hard for me to be grouchy while talking to these local community luminaries like Lori @lorilejeuneart (Butterfly artist), Melanie of @artsharefoundation, Shannon (Mother Earth's Lung artist) @shannonwillowart, Leanne of @compassionateatl, Ted @commissionertedterry, and more.
Ted told me about the @connectingcommunities.gsu project to paint crosswalks around here. The next in-person meeting is coming up soon Oct 22nd, across the railroad tracks from Heck at Tobie Grant Community Center.
Y'all all need to get more involved; it'll make ya nicer.

Had the best evening! Went to @oaklandcemetery for the tour with the family and then went to one of our favorite hangs @halfwaycrooksbeer! While enjoying everyone I look up and this guy that looks like Santa gets up and is leaving and sticks something to the post. It was @evereman and one of his artworks! I now have a piece of his work. After seeing them all over the city I have one. Trying to figure out where to place permanently and how to pay it forward, what an honor! Thanks to the team at @halfwaycrooksbeer for letting me have it when I spotted it! #gift4u

Little 5 Points Halloween Festival in Atlanta! It was yet another awesome @little5pointsofficial event in @l5patl yesterday. It was notably packed throughout the day. I look forward to this event every year and it never disappoints. The famed L5P Halloween Parade is today at 1:00 pm, with more events to follow, including an after party with bands at @starcommunitybar! #l5p #littlefivepoints

This is a gratitude post 🫶 It truly takes a village, and in our case a whole CITY. Thank you to every single person who has patched a wall, carried in a box, or stopped to say hello along the way. Broad Street is for y’all 💨

Building a backyard woodshop, part three.

The best part is seeing the shop put to work. Built for Atlanta artist Evereman, this backyard workspace has room for his tools, machines, and daily creative projects-all just steps from home.

For Forward Warrior this year I wanted to honor my Pookie. I adopted my best friend from the Atlanta Humane Society 13 years ago. It’s hard to put into words how much life has happened in those 13 years and he’s been right there beside me through all of it.

One of the sweetest and most unexpected parts of painting this mural was how many people saw their own cat. Thank you to everyone who stopped to show me photos of their cats, tell me their stories and remember the ones they’ve lost. There were even a few tears. It made this one mean even more to me.

Grateful for another year of @forwardwarrior making art with my friends and being part of something so special for the neighborhood. Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make it happen every year especially @fastredcar 🐈‍⬛🌺

Return of the Marta Bus Transformer Kitten

Fresh paint up in Cabbagetown for the @forwardwarrior mural festival 2026. I always have a blast spending the weekend painting alongside some of the finest and friendliest muralists ATL has to offer. Most of the new work from the weekend has been completed, and the scaffolding has started to come down. With the weather acting tolerable for the first time in a minute, why don't you head on down to Wylie Street and take yourself a little art filled stroll? This big ol' catbot will be waiting for you when you do.
