Walking into State Fair Weekend with the Glitz and Greet party!!

Last night was the perfect start to an exciting weekend! It was so good to catch up with old friends, meet so many new ones, and celebrate with all the incredible contestants!

A HUGE thank you to Everett Chevrolet for letting me ride in style in the PINK truck! 💗🎀 Not only did we get to deliver our Fill the Truck donations, but we also got to show our support for breast cancer awareness and honor the fighters and survivors!

One of the most special parts of the night was seeing everyone’s hard work come together as contestants donated OVER 20,000 boxes of cereal to the Arkansas Foodbank!

We also had some amazing vendors who made the night even sweeter! A big thank you to Sister Blends and Kendra Scott for being part of the celebration! I loved getting to shop, visit, and see some wonderful businesses represented!

And a special thank you to the Arkansas State Fair Pageant Board for putting together such an amazing event and making us all feel so welcome!

So excited for the friendships, memories, and fun still to come! Let the Arkansas State Fair week begin!

I can’t end the day without posting today’s Countdown to the Crown prompt, Service Above Self!

If there is one thing I have learned throughout my years of serving, it’s that you don’t need a crown, a title, or even a reason to make a difference. You just have to be willing to show up.

Today was such a special reminder of that as we officially wrapped up my Fill the Truck initiative with OVER 1,160 boxes of breakfast items donated to support the Arkansas Foodbank! What started as a simple idea turned into something bigger than I could have imagined, all because a community came together with a heart to serve.

From Everett Chevrolet and Kroger to our Saline County schools, fellow fair queens, friends, family, and everyone who donated, THANK YOU! You helped turn an idea into an impact that will reach families far beyond our own community.

Service has always been so much more than something I do. It’s a part of who I am, and I believe God gives each of us opportunities to use what we have to make a difference in the lives of others.

As I prepare for the Arkansas State Fair, I’m reminded that the greatest thing we can do with any title or opportunity is use it to serve others.

Some people have a way of making everyone around them feel loved, valued, and important. Susie Everett is one of those people.
She’s a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, mentor, and so much more to so many. Above all, she loves Jesus and strives to reflect His love in everything she does.
Whether she’s encouraging someone, lending a helping hand, or simply making someone’s day a little brighter, Susie has spent her life pouring into others.
Happy 70th birthday, Susie! You make the world a better place💛

Had the best time with my Ms. Saline County today at the 52nd Annual Old Fashioned Day in Downtown Benton! We spent the afternoon shopping with local vendors, seeing familiar faces, and enjoying a tradition that has brought our community together for generations.

@shilohsaintsfball"s Cole Creighton knew the responsibility he had as QB1 when the Saints made the move from 6A to 7A, and so far this season he's helped Shiloh rise to the occasion.

He is our @everettchevyauto Boys Athlete of the Week.

Saline County we need your help!

I am so excited to partner with Everett Chevrolet in Benton to host the Fill the Truck initiative, benefiting the Arkansas Foodbank. We are challenging Saline County to come together and help us Fill the Truck with cereal boxes for Arkansas families facing hunger.

How to be involved?
🥣 Pick up a couple of extra unopened/non-expired cereal boxes the next time you’re at the grocery store
(Kroger is currently running a deal if you buy 2 you get 3 free with your shoppers card)
📍Drop off at Everett Chevrolet in Benton
🗓️ Donate now through October 15th

Every box makes a difference and together we can turn something as simple as breakfast into a way to serve our neighbors.

And a HUGE thank you to Landon Ramer for joining me in this video. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, go see Landon and the team at Everett - and while you’re there don’t forget to bring your cereal😉

LETS. FILL. THAT. TRUCK.

This October means a little more to the Everett family. 💗

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re celebrating 25 years of survivorship for Susie Everett.

And as we celebrate Susie, we honor every woman in our community who is fighting, has survived or has been forever affected by breast cancer.
