POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It's taken me a couple days to reflect on this whole journey, but I can start with thank you <3

Thank you to the people who support me, to the people who push me, and to the ones willing to follow me.

This project was something that came out of me with no reason other than I felt like I needed to do it; and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. From the 30 artists, to the light show, videos, tracks, and an album I can be super proud of, I cannot believe that these shows are done and the music is out there.

So what's next? I'm not sure.

I feel like with the immense amount of work I put into this, it would be a disservice to myself to put this on the shelf forever. The hard part is how to make this happen successfully.

I will be taking some time here to work on making this show something that can push me even further. I believe that we have something special here, and I plan to act on it.

In the meantime, come catch any of these musicians play in the many many projects that stem out from this one. This is an incredible cast of highly talented musicians, and you'd be missing out by not keeping up with them.

As for me, I'll still be playing with @jojogreenmusic, @snapzmn, and @mae_simpson_music_.

A special shout out to the JoJo folks and our upcoming album release on Sept 26th. We'll be playing with @socktopusband and @joanofprofile at @arthousepaintsmusic.

The next time you see The Holding Line, we will be ready to take on the world.

Until then, let's keep holding the line 🫶

@theholdingline release show at @thehookmpls was a proper success. “Will You Remember” is available for streaming everywhere. Arguably the most unique, wholesome, and rocking project I’ve got to be a part of. @zachonsax has a visual accompaniment to it each track and has some 30 musicians collaborate in recording. A serious honor to be a part of.

I got some videos of almost all of the performances, made some new friends, and watched some old friends get freaky with a fun project.

I could gush over every person in these videos, but instead let me just reiterate the message I took away from last night: this trip is all very temporary. It can be brutal and it is absolutely beautiful. Be good to yourself, those in your bubble, and the strangers who aren’t. Have some fun while you’re at it.

Zach, thanks again for letting me take part and for putting together one heck of a beautiful and introspective project.

If you're only gonna see me play once this year, I'd reccomend this one. This is the second and final chance to see this show live! There are a limited amount of spots, so grab a ticket early 🙏🙏🙏

The Holding Line is an audiovisual Pink Floyd inspired experience featuring @zachonsax and his group of nearly 30 musicians. Rooted in loss and grief, The Holding Line is about getting through tough times, and appreciating the people around us that hold us up.

Openening up the night are @cassandrajohnsonmusic and @ditchpigeon. From Cassandras deeply moving lyrics and catchy guitar playing to Ditch Pigeons softly spoken and eerie vocals, this bill is set up to let the audience sit down, relax, and enjoy some introspective music.

Grab tickets for just $18 at The Zen Arcade box office during business hours. Online advance tickets are $20, or pay $25 at the door.

I’m very proud to announce the release of our newest single More Of Us. I wrote it during Metro Surge and it’s a big middle finger to 🧊. But also a giant love letter to the people of Minneapolis and Minnesota. A group of amazing musicians recorded this and it’ll be on bandcamp to purchase. All the money from this tune will go to mutual aid.

Have you tried our Monster cookie? As one of our classic Atuvava treats, it’s a favorite around here. Packed with chocolate chips, butterscotch, M&M’s, and peanut butter, we think it’s hard not to love! Our very own Everett is known to never leave a shift without a quick cookie break (he’s got the right idea), and the Monster is always his treat of choice. Everett approved!

These guys are nearly always in the case, so stop by and try them out!
