Sunday night round up ✌️
And what a week it’s been.
💥Fell madly in love with a dog called Luca (first slide and maybe one other slide as I can’t get enough of him) who wore a matching hat with his owner.
Would you look at him. For feck sake. The little paws on him. Sweet baby Jesus I cannot cope.
💥Visitors from CORK CITY IRELAND ☘️(top place so I’ve heard 👀) Seattle ✌️, New York City ( also pretty good apparently).
💥Big up to @ridgewayroversfc the football club we sponsor (ffs the best thing to do ever- more on that soon) who won 7-1 ✌️⚽️
💥A lovely customer pairing @evergood & @niabeynon prints match made in heaven tbh
💥Our @meg.tait_showpony wall going down a storm 😎
💥 Our collab with @florencewinterhill hit the store and is flying ✌️
💥 Quite a bit of chat about a programme called Traitors 👀
💥A snap from our recent @mmxnson live drawing 😘
💥 Scroll to the end for a sneak peek at something exciting Soooooooooonnnnnnn 😎
Love you all thanks for supporting as always 💞

A good day for making, meeting and looking a little closer.

Our first Makers Market brought together makers, artists, curious minds and plenty of good conversations in the Black Barn.

On Saturday, Nat Melton, Executive Director of the Crafts Council, hosted a conversation with Sophie Sellu, Suzie de Rohan Willner of TOAST and Euan Roberts.

On Sunday, The Rosa Mag hosted a second conversation with George Amici, Emmely Elgersma and Mia Sylvia.

Alongside the panels, the Black Barn was full of makers, workshops, things to look at and things to take home.

Thank you to everyone who came along, and to the makers, speakers and Crafts Council for being part of it.

Next Makers Market: 6 December.

If you’re a maker and would like to take part, enquire via our website.

Managed to spectacularly miss last week’s sunday night round up because i was too busy galavanting around Athens and completely forgot 😅🏅✌️

SO here’s a double whammy of lovely people, excellent art choices and general brighton shop goings-on from the last two weeks.

As always, so many awesome customers popped in — including a lovely couple celebrating their 10 year anniversary 💚 and a couple on their honeymoon both marking the occasions with Adam & Dan ceramics (excellent choices ✌️).

There were also several dogs, most notably Cookie (Slide 3) who took the ENTIRE store (and my camera roll) by storm yesterday and frankly stole the show.

Everyone was loving our new Meg Tait wall (a special dedicated post coming soon for that) & our live drawing session with @mmxnson was feckin gorgeous too 😘

Thank you thank you to everyone who popped in, said hello , bought some art, brought their dogs and generally made the shop a very lovely place to be.

you’re the best 💘
