In Lake Leelanau for family time and resale shopping. Visited Evergreen Consignment and could not leave without a 1970’s painted basket purse. Perfect for summer festivals, concerts and parades. The whole store was “marvelous”. There is so much to look at and many items to put on my wish list.#supportsmallbusiness#supportlocalbusiness#resale#consignment

Starting your day is easy peasy when you’re within walking distance of coffee, water, and shopping! Both the Provemont Cottage and Andor Cottage are located in downtown Lake Leelanau. For such a tiny “village” there sure is a lot to offer! Coffee, restaurants, shopping and wine tasting are all steps away. These two properties are next door to one another, sleeping a combined 16 guests between them. Often times large friend and family groups will rent them together. It’s almost time for Tulipmania 2024! In just a few short weeks, the field, cooler, and my car will be bursting with squeaky goodness. Eek! This year, I’m excited to partner with some incredible local Northern Michigan businesses to carry subscription bouquets: @mimarketsuttonsbay, @lelandgal, and @evergreenconsignment TC. Not only are they amazing local small businesses, they are operated by wonderful humans! With only a few weeks remaining until Tulipmania kicks off, grab your spot for subscription bouquets before they close on April 30! Just a few spots remain, so don’t dawdle y’all, head over to the website (link in bio) to snag your subscription. Hint hint: these make a fantastic Mother’s Day gift 😘 Subscription members receive special bonuses (varietal identification, bonus bouquet, premium varieties, etc), so this is definitely the ultra luxe way to enjoy local spring flowers! #orchardbreezeflowerfarm #cutflowers #flowerfarm #leelanau #traversecity #leelanaucounty #tcmi #upnorth #northernmichigan #lakeleelanau #suttonsbay #lelandmichigan #lelandmi

3/5 things that I’m wearing were purchased secondhand! I’ve seen so many people that I follow and love share about their joy of shopping resale/thrifting/secondhand and I wondered why I haven’t! Not only is it a necessity financially for me, but when I learned the concerning statistic that there’s enough clothing on the planet to clothe everyone for the next 7 years (?!) I knew I didn’t need to contribute further to the overconsumption. Throughout this month (and probably beyond) I’ll continue to share clothing and gear I’ve purchased secondhand, but in this picture my @blundstoneusa (purchased from eBay) @rei leggings (purchased from REI’s Re/Supply section) and my Sherpa lined jean jacket that I found at @evergreenconsignment when I lived in Traverse City are my 3 items that I purchased resale! What are your favorite items you’ve found shopping resale?! #OutdoorWomen #WomenWhoExplore #thrifted #resalenotretail #PureMichiganders #travelmichigan #travelmi #campingcollective #greatlakesproud #naturalmichigan #enjoymichigan #michiganawesome #ilovemi #outdoorgear #mittentrip #mittenlove #MIAwesomeList #rei #reiresupply #lightroom #resupply #peninsula #MIphotography #MIphotographer #natural #photogenic #mioutdoor #puremittigan #alwayslovemichigan
