The Path to Entrepreneurship! 💡

Kingsborough Community College's Business of Fashion program is bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, industry professionals and creative minds for a two-day event focused on networking, professional development and industry insights to help aspiring business owners turn their ideas into successful ventures.

Day 1 featured an entrepreneur marketplace showcasing 17 Kingsborough alumni and students, including designers, artists, chefs, cosmetics creators, and authors. Attendees had the opportunity to explore their products, learn about their entrepreneurial journeys and connect with members of the Kingsborough community.

Want to hear from seven NYC industry experts about how they built their own successful brands—and how to build yours? Join us tomorrow for Day 2's panel discussion in Room U-219 at 12 p.m.!

Turns out seeing it online is fun, but seeing it in print is a whole different kind of exciting.

Finally got my hands on our @luxemagazine x @benjaminmoore Faces of Design feature—and made the day even better with a WNWN panel talking about two things I could happily discuss all day: paint + color.

A very colorful little pinch-me moment. 💜

An afternoon was had at What’s New What’s Next @nydc

A big thank you to our incredible panelists for taking the time to join us at the Anti-Showroom Showroom and talk all things design + technology.

Great conversation, great perspectives, and plenty of insight into how technology can complement a design vision, not compete with it.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the New York Design Center for another great #wnwn. We loved being part of it! #interiordesign #avdesign #avtechnology #designandtechnology

Always so happy when work takes me back to New York!

Honored to be part of New York Design Week’s 18th annual, What’s New, What’s Next event as a panelist. As we celebrate 200 Lexington’s 100th birthday, the topic “Design v. Tech” feels especially apt. How do we integrate technology without compromising the design?

We set the table and you made the night 🥂

On September 9th I welcomed some truly incredible people to SoHo for a private dinner and preview of A Seat At Her Table, my exhibition with @transformertable. All I can say is Wow… I’m still taking it all in.

For me to look around and see designers, editors, artists, creatives and friends - some who have known me for years and others I was meeting for the first time, come together to celebrate something so personal to me was a feeling I’ll never forget.

Good food. Great conversation. Even greater people. The kind of night you wish could last just a little longer ✨

This exhibition holds so many pieces of me. My art, my story and the different chapters that brought me here. Sharing the work is one thing. Inviting people into the life behind it is another and I felt so much love in that room.

I just want to say to everyone who showed up, pulled up a seat and celebrated this next chapter with me: THANK YOU! And to the incredible team who helped bring this vision to life, thank you for caring about it as much as I do ❤️ my management @bldg.agency @iamnotmylipstick and her team @_leahgarcia @natalia.shepherd and @novitapr

A Seat At Her Table. A night that will stay with me. A beginning I’m so proud of🤍

Huge shoutout to @lunazultequila who kept the drinks flowing all night long 🥂

Tallulah, Tallulah, Tallulah! That is @everickbrowndesign’s motto — and ours too.

Everick and Lisa used our Talullah rechargeable pendants in their @hwdesignonadime booth to add a touch of fun and femininity. We are so happy that the Tallulah, created in collaboration with @thenovogratz, found a home at this year’s DOAD.

I’m honored to be part of Housing Works’ Design on a Dime, @hwdesignonadime for the third year. This event isn’t just about design—it’s about transforming lives across New York City. Grateful to have contributed my craft once again to a cause that means so much.

Huge thanks to @everickbrowndesign for inviting me to collaborate. Everick and Lisa’s vision, always refined, always intentional, is inspiring. And a big shout-out to @benjaminmoore for the palette that brought the vision to life.

Here’s to creating spaces that connect, uplift, and make a difference. And here’s to the finishes—seen and unseen—that remind us: when the structure is sound, anything is possible.
