I had the most magnificent 37th birthday turning my home into a little Shire for a truly magical hobbit themed party! My Dungeons and Dragons players nailed the assignment and came dressed in their finest hobbit garb. We feasted on roast chickens, mushrooms, and of course plenty of potatoes.

A few shoutouts to those whose creative talents pushed the party design beyond my wildest dreams:
-My dear friend Nicole, the incredibly talented mind behind @evermore_entry.co for her stunning front door display. I am still blown away by how gorgeous this entryway turned out!!!

-My brother in arms @cianacone for collaborating with me on creating a round hobbit door over the top of my actual front door. The man can make anything!

-New pal and delightful D&D buddy Sara @miloraybakes for her delicious and supremely stunning Hobbit themed cookies. Edible works of art are among my favorites!

This last year of my life was one of intensive change. It has put me squarely in a new chapter, one that has me settling into my most whimsical, joyous, and alive self. Here’s to another year on this fair slice of the earth with good food, marvelous company, and grand ideas. Cheers, beloveds. I love you all so much! 💖🍃🎂
