A beautiful day on the course for a great cause! ⛳️

NRBP was pleased to join the @NewarkYMCA’s 9th Annual Tee It Up as a guest of Ronice Bruce, Executive Director of the Newark South Ward Special Improvement District (@southward_sid)

It was a great afternoon of fellowship, familiar faces, and new connections—all while supporting the Newark YMCA’s commitment to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to experience the Y.

🏈Future NFL Draft Pick, Present-Day Role Model🏈

Ohio State had three defensive players in the 1st 11 picks of the 2026 NFL Draft and five in the first two rounds. Now the Buckeyes will turn to Jaylen McClain to lead their secondary.

The Seton Hall Prep product is on the 2027 NFL Draft radar. McClain is poised to be a critical piece in Ohio State's defense and what he's doing off the field is even more impressive.

Watch our JSZ feature on how McClain is giving back through his Everyday Legends Foundation

Last week, I had the honor of receiving the Trailblazer Award from the incredible Everyday Legends Foundation. @everydaylegendsfoundation

"Legend" is a big word. "Trailblazer" is an even bigger one.

Awards like this make me pause and reflect. Am I truly filling the shoes of those words? Am I creating the kind of impact that leaves a path for others to follow?

What I do know is that moments like this remind me that the work is bigger than me. Every student trained, every woman empowered, every opportunity created is about something greater than personal success. It's about legacy. It's about opening doors and making sure others have the opportunity to walk through them.

What made this moment even more special was looking out and seeing the smile on my goddaughter's face as she watched me accept this award. In that moment, I was reminded that representation matters. Our girls need to see women leading, building, serving, and walking boldly in their purpose. Sometimes the greatest impact isn't the award itself it's showing the next generation what's possible.

When I win, women win. Families win. Communities win. The young girl who is watching and wondering if she belongs wins. The student learning a trade wins. The first-time homebuyer wins. The aspiring developer wins. The person looking for a second chance wins. The people who have poured into me, supported me, and believed in me win.

Thank you to Syreeta, Maurice and Jaylen for seeing me, supporting me, and uplifting my work.

I am humbled by this recognition and even more committed to the assignment.

The marathon continues. 🏁
The trail is still being blazed. ❤️
