🤝 When our people are hurting, we show up for one another.

Today, our hearts are with 🇯🇲 Jamaica and 🇭🇹 Haiti where lives have been lost, homes destroyed, and families are beginning the long road to recovery.

💬 In the middle of this devastation, many of the organisations connected to Support Black Charities (SBC) are mobilising what they can, people, resources, and community networks to help rebuild.

Some have been directly impacted, others are working tirelessly to respond. Together, they remind us what true community-led action looks like.

📣 At Support Black Charities, our role is to make sure these voices are seen and heard to raise visibility for those working on the ground and those most affected by this crisis.

💛 Now is the time to turn awareness into compassion, and compassion into action.

🌍 We invite you to learn more about the organizations responding in these regions.

Follow their work, share their updates, and help amplify their message.

Every share, every repost, and every show of solidarity matters. 🙌🏾

🇯🇲 Happy Independence Day, Jamaica! 💚💛🖤
Today, we celebrate the strength, pride, and global influence of a people whose impact reaches far beyond their island home.

On August 6, 1962, Jamaica claimed its independence a milestone in sovereignty, culture, and resilience. From dancehall to dub, jerk to reggae, patois to poetry, Jamaican culture is one of the most vibrant and recognized forces in the Black Diaspora. ✨🔥

Jamaicans at home and abroad have carried their heritage with pride redefining Black excellence in sports, activism, music, cuisine, and global influence.

Today, we honor Jamaica not just for its independence, but for its contribution to global Black culture and identity. 💥

🌱 Let’s celebrate by supporting Jamaican organizations doing transformative work for their communities and the world:

Today, we honor the incredible contributions of volunteers worldwide. Since 1985, International Volunteer Day (IVD) has shined a light on the profound impact of selfless service.
