After a successful first half of our Contemporary Collage Magazine Awards, we’re excited to announce the next two categories for 2026.

Category 5 : Commissioned / Editorial (Single or multiple images)
This category celebrates collage work made to a brief – whether commercial or a bespoke personal commission. Think magazine editorials, book jackets, newspaper illustrations, album artwork, surface pattern, installation pieces, family portraits, commissioned art pieces and beyond.

Category 6 : Open call : Monochrome (Single Image or Series (4 - 10 images)
Less is more in this category. We’re after collages built around a single colour — a restrained palette that lets tone, texture and contrast do the talking. Black & white is only the start: send us your all-blue, all-pink, all-orange or all-green work too. The rule is simple — one colour, however you choose to explore it.

Purchase your entries at ccmag.co.uk , deadline for entry 11th October

We can’t wait to see your submissions!

The latest from Limbo: @damosroom land in bold equestrian mixtape style. With elements of dub, dancehall, and dystopian dream-states all ground into the dirt through exploratory hands-on jams and wry poetry.
We’re big fans of what this trio are up to and are delighted to present their first full length album.
Damos hoof beats will be felt for generations, so follow the link in our bio and bless your cassette // digital collection! 🐎

A sample from Birthname’s album that came out around this time last year. We are excited to have them come visit from Montreal to share a live set of new material with us.

BIO:

Birthname is the musical alias of prairie-born artist Caro Wilson, whose interdisciplinary work resides in the folds of ceramics, sound, photography, and site-responsive installation. Their practice is grounded in place-based research and ecological inquiry, exploring how land and inherited systems of care shape both material environments and lived experience. Birthname’s output is a mirror and a vessel for ritual utility, merging broader historical, topological, and geopolitical landscapes with intimate everyday life. Like any spiritual practice, it is an exercise in attention: a sustained listening to land, matter, memory, and relation.

Host of The Tea and presently Fireshelter on n10.as radio, they have shared music at events including Mutek, Bass Coast, New Forms and Active/Passive. Their most recent album Spiral Dance came out in 2025 via @limbo_tapes
