black sesame mochi babka with burnt honey glaze
recipe by @everythingalexcooks

it’s finally cold enough in Germany to turn the oven back on again, so it was time to try out this recipe that has been on my list for so long. It was so worth it! Not too sweet, perfectly nutty and so soft 🍞

MADE EVERYONE GET IN A PHOTO BOOTH WITH ME IN 2025 AND DO NOT PLAN ON CHANGING THAT MUCH IN 2026.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY, IT TOOK ME ALMOST THREE WEEKS TO PROCESS WHATEVER THAT YEAR WAS! I AM HAPPY TO BE HERE. I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE WITH ME.

here is my bssm mochi babka journey by @everythingalexcooks in videos — phew this was such a fun project but also a long one. i added a lot more mochi, partially bc i love mochi, partially bc i didn’t trust the microwave and kept having to add more ingredients…it really reminds me of tangyuan

After weeks of being an over time corporate bitch, I finally got not one but two comp days (woo!!). Obviously the only reasonable way to celebrate was making the black sesame mochi babka from @everythingalexcooks. Highly recommend, just don’t overstuff ur loaf pan like me

Been sourcing farms the first 6 months of this year call me Agrikulture

Re-ups coming at you featuring new farms and the current one that you love

New merch is cooking, mostly hats because you have enough tees and totes. Should we just go Sky High with it? Start a farm and get into Dover Street? Who knows?

I look like I came off a shift bussin and @everythingalexcooks conquered a line no prob. Like Alex said, if the new radio bakery can do it we can too

Inspired and grateful for Alex & Kim & her roomies Celine and Jenn for coming through. The black sesame mochi babka is what dreams are made of. Alex using our signature Izumo matcha for the matcha mochi sesame semolina cake is something I’ve dreamed about a collab with Alex since we met and it came to life

Can’t thank our neighbors @farm.one enough for hosting us and @oishii.berry for dropping off berries to us to use in our Strawberry Matcha Latte

Thank you everyone for coming out and showing the rain who’s boss

I can keep writing about Alex forever. So I did so in our newsletter
