VETTED at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 was AMAZING!

We laughed, we cried, we were at each other’s throats at times, but most importantly we put on a bloody good show. This show was 2 years in the making & performing for only a handful of performances feels like a drop in the ocean of what this show deserves.

Congratulations to @fantasyqween for writing & producing an original, bonkers and chaotic show. Without you there literally would be no show. Thank you to @c_venues for hosting us (we’d love to come back and do it all over again next year after making some improvements).

Thank you to @evescottgram for joining the company with only a week to get to grips with your role, you really went above and beyond as you always do.

Honorable mentions to @jess.thepianist for composing the songs & making sense of Tony’s crazy time ideas, @thelewray for our choreography & @vangelispoly for sorting out all of the tracks, hours of recording and ensuring the music was show ready.
@moirastansfield & @freakcouturemcr for quick costume turnarounds and to @jennydeedesign for all@of your contributions

To anyone not mentioned who contributed to this show, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped bring this crazy idea to life and helped @fantasyqween finally get a project from PAGE to STAGE.

Now it’s off to do some rewrites, make improvements and start planning the next run of VETTED, hopefully in a London venue???

It’s finally happening! Last year @fantasyqween @jennydeedesign and I were to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe festival but I got very poorly so we had to postpone.
Thankfully @c_venues held our spot at their gorgeous theatre so we can finally perform ‘VETTED’

This August prepare to be checked in, checked out and thoroughly VETTED at the In-Fur-Mary Clinic!

Written by @fantasyqween, directed by @jennydeedesign and featuring original songs, Vetted is hilariously goofy, full of camp comedy, pawfect puppets and stars a side a splitting, show stealing STAR…ME!!!!!

✨2024✨
I began the year with one phrase appearing in my mind: “Surender Completely”. At the time I had no idea what this meant or where it would take me. Looking back over this year I have come to realise it takes strength to fight against the pull of the inevitable however it takes profoundly more fortitude to simply lie back and go with the flow of the river of life. I moved to a beautiful new city to start my life again, I fell in love with my neighbour, I had the privilege to start a new theatre company, I worked in retail and hospitality, I got dropped by my agent, I got hit by a car, I dyed my hair blonde, I got my first tattoos, I changed my name (for a bit), I got my heart broken, I finished writing my first one man show, I met and made so many incredible friends, I got deep into my overdraft, I dragged myself out of it, I got sober, I danced, I slept, I ate, I cried my eyes out, I was lonely as hell, I partied, I worked, I laughed, I let go, I LIVED. For what feels like the first time in my life, I truly went out and met life. To quote a song that I have been holding space for: “And if I’m flying solo, At least I’m flying free” 🧹 Though when I truly took the time to look around me, I saw I was surrounded by people who love me, cherish me and support me - I just had to open the door and let them in first. I’m just so grateful to this year in its entirety. Especially for the parts that were hard, confusing, challenging, for they made the glorious moments shine even greater. Thank you to every single one of you who joined me on this journey, I send you love, gratitude and peace for what’s to come in 2025. Life ain’t easy, but boy is it fun, when you let it be!✨
