thx to @noralstanley @96kbps @wendyeyes @conners_ and @sammyweissberg for playing on this album. and huge thanks to @evesoflov for engineering so much of this :) art by @hannacampbell + mastering by @the_land_ethic.wav

we have an album release show lined up in nyc at @cassettenyc for 10/24! the full ensemble from the record will be performing w additional members @alicedoescomputermusic + @stefanibondari. jadelain and andrea schiavelli open :)

these are likely already claimed but the first 5 people who purchase a cd today (from thrill jockey direct or my bandcamp) get a signed copy of the limited edition score book that is otherwise sold out! i'll have a small handful of those for sale at my upcoming tour dates but they will be gone very soon!

hopefully see yall at some of these shows! i have some very other #cool gigs to share w u very soon :D

astoundingly, it’s been (almost) a month since frances chang’s been thinking bout confession was released, surfacing from the self, spiraling and skittering into our sonic space (@p.l.u.t.o.n.e.s.s) 🦂

in order to properly commemorate this truly wonderful occasion, chang is hosting a special album release show tonight, thursday, september 17, at nyc’s @night_club_101 🌊

the night will commence with two awe-inspiring, air-adorning sets from dear friends @catekennan_ and financial collapse (@unstructured__time). then, chang will conclude of the evening with a colorful, contagious performance accompanied by andréa schiavelli (@evesoflov) on bass and @matt_norman on drums 🫠

so, clear your calendar and come celebrate been thinking bout confession. it’s a must, honestly 🤝

above, a behind-and-in-front-of-the-scenes look at the creation of btbc, featuring collaborators andréa schiavelli (@evesoflov) and @sammyweissberg 🔎
