Senior Year of highschool I snuck out of my house told my mom I was down the street at a birthday party and but I was really downtown in @atlantapride going to see the parade and see @phoenix_atl starlight cabaret which changed my life for ever! First time seeing Drag Queens in person but i KNEW this art form is something later in life I would have to do I didn’t know when! But I use to be so scared of what people thought or how feminine presenting I was but then I took that leap of faith 2 years ago! Now performed on @pattiegonia & @veritas_22 & @theonlysequoia TOUR! Now I’ve been on both stages for pride and walked in the parade alongside my dad who was the first drag king grand Marshall!💎 If y’all truly understand how happy and healed that young gay black boy that was cutting his first crop top and sneaking out would be right now! He actually would be in disbelief that we actually did it! BUT WE DID IT! Im extremely appreciative of my village and the beautiful amazing talented KINGS & QUEENS so far in my drag journey who has made this everything I wanted and more ! I love this scene so much and I love drag soooooooo much! I say this no matter Perfoming in drag or out ! It’s not about the money! It’s the healing that comes with performing for me and the audience because if I’m able to make you happy and smile for 5mins or a 1hr in this crazy evil world then I did my job that’s what makes me happy! 🤍 THANK YOU EVERYONE I LOVE YOU MUCH !
