CASEMATES STUDIOS⭐️

A couple of weeks ago, me and the band got to spend the afternoon rehearsing at @casematesstudios before playing HI-FEST the next day.

Such a great space to play in and we were made to feel so welcome. Can’t wait till next time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

One week of ‘The Man You Are’ ❤️

This song has been with me for a long time, so it’s felt so good to finally have this song out in the world. Thank you so much to everyone who has listened, shared it, added it to a playlist or sent me a message over the past week, it means a lot.

I also wanted to recognise all of the talented people I had the pleasure of working with on this record:

✍️ Written by Freddie Rose
🎼 Instrumental co-writing contributions – Adam Howliston and Luke Ashurst
🎙️ Produced by Lily-Anna Burrows
🎛️ Recorded by Arthur McDonald
🎚️ Mixed by Chris at Satsuma Touring
🎧Mastered by Eric at Philosophers Barn Mastering
🎸 Guitar – Adam Howliston
🎸 Bass – Luke Ashurst
🥁 Drums – Eddie Foggin
🎹 Piano – Evie Gillman
🎷 Saxophone – Simeon Lord
🎺 Trumpet – Juliana Cortez
🪊 Trombone – Tom Davenport
📸 Photography – @photochezelouise
🖋️ Typography and design – @type.twenty.five
🎥 Videography – @eddie_filmmaker

I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with such talented people who supported me in bringing my vision for this project to life. I’m so proud of the final result and so grateful for all the love it has received during its first week.

‘The Man You Are’ is out now.

One week since my debut headline gig at @oportobarleeds

What a night. Thank you to everyone who came down to support and show love, the atmosphere in the room was incredible, and seeing it so full meant a lot.

Still hasn’t fully sunk in that it sold out - WHHHAATTT

Big thanks to my supports @adaragonzalez_ and @tomcoghlanmusic, and to the brilliant musicians who joined them on stage. Appreciate you guys being a part of it.

Thank you as well to Jacob and Harry at Oporto for everything you did to help make the night happen, and to Pete Devine for working his magic on sound and making us all sound our best.

Massive thank you to @a6400lli, @youpoorthingart and Mik for the amazing photos on the night, and to @eddie_filmmaker for the brilliant videography, you captured it all perfectly.

And to my band, it’s a privilege to play my music with such talented people, and even more to call you my friends. I’m very grateful for everything you bring to it. Love you lot.

It was a really special night, and it feels like the start of something. I’ve got a lot in the works at the moment that I’m excited to share soon.

Looking forward to what’s next 🫶🏼🎤⭐️

SOLD OUT!!!

I’m still trying to process last night… my debut headline show, packed out with people singing, dancing and giving my songs a life I’ve only ever imagined until now.

Honestly didn’t expect it, and I don’t take it lightly. Every single one of you in that room made it what it was. The energy, the noise, the love — I felt all of it.

I’ve got a lot more to say and a lot of people to thank, but for now I’m just sitting with it and feeling very, very grateful.

This feels like the start of something special.

More soon…
Big love 🫶🏼
