Whilst I am proud of every single one of my teams this one yesterday was certainly special.
At the start of 22/23 we made a sensible choice and created Aqua J2 and whilst the girls were certainly strong tumblers the stunts took a while. Taking home a win at each comp and a Grand Champion title we made a crazy choice and jumped them up not one but two levels to Junior 4.
We started their routine all over after returning from Worlds, learnt new stunts, learnt many new tumbles. Worked at every open gym, practiced at home and the result was a National Championship title. Was it the zero the team desperately wanted, no, but one things for sure, they gave everything they could and it showed. Thank you to all these amazing girls for their dedication and trust in the past 6 weeks and believing in the crazy to acheive the title. So Proud!

That’s a wrap storm 21-22…
-
Storm it’s been an absolute blast, this team was a big step for me as an individual and athlete competing internationally in Florida in April and challenged me personally outside my comfort zone. This team has my whole heart and got me through really difficult times and I am forever grateful to have experienced summit with this team and get to know these amazing girls. We all had our ups and downs but were always able to pull together when it mattered! I will miss you all and I can’t wait to see what the future holds! 🏔💕🫶
