We absolutely love this event. Amazing food from all over the world, cool activities for the whole family, kids had a blast exploring and creating…. You just can’t beat it! 🥳

I had the absolute pleasure of attending the @fairfieldinternationalfoodfest this past Saturday at the @ftcpresents . It was an incredibly put together event that far surpassed my wildest expectations. I attended with my mom and we had a blast. We ate some incredibly delicious food from 6/13 vendors, watched a short film courtesy of the @bridgeportfilmfest , saw some foodie friends including @thesidedishers @abristhrutown @eatdrinkryebird , got to sample some local wine and spirits, and just got to relax and fun! Amazing people, amazing turnout, amazing vibes… ✨

Foodie that I am, I of course have to elaborate on the food:
• @grumpydumplingco - incredible, generously stuffed vegetarian dumplings with a perfect pan fry to the exterior. Super fresh tasting and flavorful.
• @joylarkkitchen - their BBQ sandwich was completely vegan, like everything they serve, and full of flavor. Great texture to the “meat”.
• @luigisfairfield - pear & Gorgonzola arancini that were one of the best bites of the day (best savory). Unique vegetarian friendly take on the Italian classic. I went back for round 2 from them to try their cannolis, filled to order with an incredibly light but classic filling. Some of the best I’ve ever had.
• @thetawaexpress - Cauliflower Manchurian Tacos that were stuffed and had an incredible variety of ingredients that all worked together
• @blue_andberries - Their vegetarian Jap-Chae & spicy sauce on top lived up to the buzz I’d heard while walking around, and the high expectations I had from just knowing they were going to be there. Had only heard amazing things. Tremendous flavor and well prepared sweet potato noodles, which are not easy to do right!
• @evjoy.cookies - They stole the show with their mini tarts. I tried their honey crisp apple and their strawberry/guava, both topped with homemade toasted fluff. Truly incredible. Not overly sweet or heavy, tremendous maple sugar cookie crust. The high quality ingredients and care made a huge difference. I still haven’t shut up about them. Special special find 🫶🏻✨

It was a special afternoon for me personally that I’ll never forget.
