What is @cultandking Weirdfest?

It is an epic, multi-day gathering of the best humans who happen to be hairdressers
We learn, we talk about how to revolutionize this industry. We build community
And sometimes, we meet a cool as fuck 12 yr old with gorgeous curls who has never had a good haircut & her amazingly loving & supportive mama while chilling in the hot tub
Fast forward 12 hrs - our new little bestie has the wolf cut she deserves & we have all started to heal our inner child who experienced curly hair trauma (& in some cases) a less understanding & supportive mom

In short, Weirdfest is something you just can’t understand until you experience it

@sidehausagency ‘s @thekrazykatelyn made this amazing video to showcase our grand re opening so I can forever share this amazing event experience with you. To all who prioritized attending this event on 11/3, I love you. I am so happy with how it turned out, and I can’t wait to share it every year as we continue to flourish in this space.
I’m not going to lie I still shed a little dumb tear every time I watch this video. ILY
AND the biggest thank you in the world to @samyjoette for believing in me, and helping me move toward this dream. And @boothchella and @studio12_phx for helping me with the event! (Adding tags below so I can cover all the vendors who attended)
