I’m proud to be from the communities that make up #Kalkallo. And I’m proud to be an Australian of #Assyrian heritage.

Our northern suburbs are among the most diverse communities in #Victoria, yet for too long, that diversity has not been reflected in the people making decisions for us.

As my friend @evmulholland has said, it is about time that there is representation from our diverse northern communities in Victorian Government.

The Liberal Party doesn’t just talk about diversity. We embrace it, we live it, and we believe our Parliament should reflect the communities it serves.

But representation must be about more than where you come from. It must be about standing up for the people you represent.

And everywhere I go across Kalkallo, I hear the same concerns:

❌️The cost of living is hurting families.
❌️Our roads and infrastructure have failed to keep pace with population growth.
❌️Families are spending too much time stuck in traffic and not enough time together.
❌️And people deserve to feel safe in their homes and communities.

Enough is enough.

Our communities cannot continue to be remembered at election time to rally up votes based on identity politics and neglected afterwards.

We deserve better. We deserve investment. We deserve a government that listens and delivers.

That means supporting our schools and giving our children greater opportunities. It means backing projects like the recent $10million commitment for St Joseph’s College and welcoming a new selective-entry high school in Craigieburn.

It means fixing the infrastructure failures holding our north back, including the $524 million commitment to duplicate Donnybrook Road, so families can spend less time in traffic and more time at home together.

Above all, it means giving Kalkallo the strong voice it deserves.

A Liberal Government led by @jesswilsonmp will deliver the Fresh Start our community needs.

A Fresh Start for our roads.
A Fresh Start for our families.
A Fresh Start for businesses.
A Fresh Start for the communities across Kalkallo.

With just 33 days until the Victorian State Election, it was fantastic to launch the Northern Metropolitan and Essendon campaigns over the weekend, surrounded by so many passionate supporters who want to see a fresh start for Victoria.

Over the past few months, I’ve spent countless hours talking with residents across Essendon, at markets, on street corners and on their doorsteps. One message keeps coming through: people feel Labor has neglected our part of Melbourne for far too long, and they want someone from their own community standing up for them.

As someone who lives and works in Essendon, I understand the challenges facing our community because I experience them too. From the cost of living and the struggle for young people to get into the housing market, to concerns about community safety and local infrastructure, our community deserves to be heard.

That’s why I’m running. I’m determined to fight for everyone in Essendon and make sure our community gets the attention, representation and investment it deserves.

If you want to help make a difference, join our campaign! Every volunteer, every conversation and every hour spent out in the community counts. Get involved and help us deliver a fresh start for Victoria. Link in my bio.

A love letter to Melbourne Fashion Week @melbfashionweek

Rachel Westway @rachelwestawaymp and I were so proud to be part of the closing celebrations for Melbourne Fashion Week at 1 Hotel Melbourne. @1hotel.melbourne

We are celebrating everything that makes this city extraordinary: its creativity, its style, its designers, and its fearless sense of self expression. Wear the Moment was a beautiful reminder that fashion in Melbourne is more than clothing. It is culture, identity, music, art, and community coming together.

As candidates, Rachel for Prahran and me for Melbourne, we share a deep love for this city and for the cultural life that makes it thrive. We believe Melbourne should always back its creative industries, champion local talent, and celebrate the people who make our streets, stages, and runways come alive.
Here’s to fashion, culture, and a Melbourne that never stops celebrating itself.

Candidate for Melbourne

It’s time for a fresh start: a government that works for us, not the other way around. Together, we’ll fight for safer communities, real cost-of-living relief, and leadership that puts Point Cook first.

This is just the beginning. Let’s get to work! 💪

Some parties are missing in action. Others are missing a plan. Our community deserves better.

@evmulholland and I were back at Wellington Square in #Wallan, listening to your concerns and discussing the Liberal Party’s concrete plan for a Fresh Start in #Victoria.

Thank you to everyone who stopped for an honest conversation about what needs to change. Your concerns are my priorities, and those conversations matter beyond the day.

I’ll keep coming back, listening and working to earn your trust.

A Fresh Start for #Kalkallo. 💙

🎭LABOR HAS ABANDONED THE OLD BANYULE THEATRE!

The State Government has transferred this valuable cultural hub in Ivanhoe to the Finance Department, leaving its future in question.

Our community deserves better! We need to protect our cultural spaces, preserve our heritage and give this theatre the future it deserves. 👏
