POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We kicked off the year strong with support from Gary Lightbody and Ed Sheeran – still surreal to even say that. Since then, we’ve been flat out.

We’re running DJing and videography workshops for young people, working with Dumworld and the Ulster Orchestra, and expanding into Derry/Londonderry with support from Disability Action. We’re also running programs at Larne High School every Thursday morning (big up @keviforex7 !) and at Queen’s University every Saturday morning with Art for Change

We’re helping many and changing lives in real time.

Massive shout out to all the organisations making this possible – from the @ohyeahcentre to the @edsheeranfnd @lightbodyfoundation and everyone who continues to back the vision.

I’ve had no time to update properly, but if you’re looking to get involved in any workshops or programs, just drop me a message. There’s plenty more to come.

If you’re a fan of homegrown music that pushes boundaries, Evo is a name to know 🔥

This 26-year-old East Belfast artist is carving out a singular space in the local scene with his fearless blend of alternative hip-hop, dark pop ballads and wry humour. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Kanye West and Cian Ducrot, Evo’s work is a sonic experiment, capturing the essence of a
city whose creative pulse grows stronger by the day.

With over 29K TikTok followers and 30+ million views, Evo’s rise is anything but quiet. His upcoming mixtape, Eclectic Evolution, promises a kaleidoscope of sub-genres across seven tracks, underlining his commitment to breaking moulds and showcasing Belfast’s musical stories on a global stage.

As Evo himself puts it: “Just because we’re from Belfast, Ireland, and Northern Ireland, doesn’t mean we don’t have stories to tell and voices to be heard like the rest of the world. But unfortunately, for the rest of the world, our voices and accents are bigger than ever, and we’re ready to tell our stories.”

I hope that we as a community start showing our local music scene the same love we show abroad so we can have something to be proud of that the world wants to be a part of.”

Catch Evo live at Voodoo next Thursday, 30th January, supporting Leo Miyagee - another fast-rising, shining light on Belfast’s music scene - and Liambo Slice. A night of real innovation and artistry awaits.
