Last week I was in the town of my youth! To my old San Frandingo haunts I brought that sharp New York business vibe for which I have become well known. I dropped by @amoebasf and @rooky_ricardos_records - they drive a hard bargain but in the end, business prevailed and I was happy to leave a few copies of our top @evolfo @secret_family_time and @abbyjmusic products! If you’re in SF pay a visit to these fine establishments and grab your copy in person, as people did in the days of yore. If you do snag one of our records from Amoeba or Rooky send me a pic and I’ll send you a free Food of Love record package ❗️

A huge thank you to @evolfo for sending me Last of the Acid Cowboys — what a record! 🤠🔥

This was my first proper dive into Evolfo, and I genuinely loved it. Psychedelic, groovy, wonderfully weird and packed with character.

“Moon Eclipsed the Sun” grabbed me straight away, but I also really loved “Don’t Give Up Your Mind”. Two seriously great tracks from a band I’m very happy to have discovered.

Thanks again for the records — you’ve definitely gained a new fan over here in Norway! 🇳🇴❤️

Step into The Groove Portal with Evolfo
And feast your ears on the Brooklyn, New York-based psychedelic soul collective, and join @evolfo while they cruise through “Peachy” from their 2017 debut album “Last of the Acid Cowboys” with a super groovy blend of fuzzy garage-rock guitars, punchy horn arrangements, soulful vocals, infectious grooves, and kaleidoscopic psych-pop textures that capture the band’s wonderfully loose and vibrant communal energy.

Have you heard the new @evolfo album, Of Love? You should, if you haven't. You can't find it on the music app we all hate, you can purchase the album on band camp or at one of their shows. Finding this music is a quest that is well worth the journey to take, it's a dreamy start to finisher. And when you're done listening you'll be proud to say you didn't support the apps, and you are supporting the art! Physical media is back in style, baby! 👽

The boys are back in town! Europe was a roaring success and we’re back to show NYC how thick our rock&roll stew has become after weeks of simmering. We’re at @alphavillebk tonight! 7pm doors, 9pm Evolfo.
