Lo que vivimos fue más que moda… fue creatividad, dedicación, profesionalismo y transformación.

Lo que antes era residuo se convirtió en arte sobre la pasarela — junto con piezas prácticas y vestibles hechas con materiales reutilizados y con verdadero propósito ♻️

Talento local y comunidad uniéndose para crear un evento no solo espectacular, sino también significativo — recordándonos que ciertas cosas que parecen ser destinados al basurero pueden reimaginarse 💫

Gracias a todas las personas que coordinaron, diseñaron, crearon, modelaron y apoyaron este evento. Esto es lo que sucede cuando una comunidad convierte ideas en acción.

Logramos hacer realidad este evento en tan solo 6 semanas. Una verdadera muestra de lo unida, capaz y creativa que es esta comunidad.

El primer NMB UpFashion Show nos dejó mucho aprendizaje — y esto apenas comienza.

✨ NMB UpFashion Show Premiere 2026 — Recap

What we witnessed was more than fashion… it was creativity, dedication, professionalism, and complete transformation.

What was once waste became runway art — alongside practical, wearable pieces made from repurposed materials with real purpose ♻️

Local talent and community coming together to create a show that was not only fabulous, but meaningful — reminding us that what’s destined for the dump isn’t always necessarily ready to be waste when it can be reimagined 💫

Thank you to everyone who coordinated, designed, created, modeled, and supported this event. This is what happens when community turns ideas into action.

We brought this show to life in about 6 weeks. If this isn’t a true reflection of how neat, connected and capable this community is, I don’t know what is!

The first NMB UpFashion Show taught us a lot — we can’t wait to see how the show evolves.

Here at La Ventana Dive Center, we are 100% committed to being an ethical and sustainable dive operation.

What does it mean to be ethical?
Being ethical means always doing what’s right—putting marine life first and keeping both people and wildlife at a safe and respectful distance.

Sustainability is also very important to us.
We no longer use excessive fuel to chase after orcas, whales, or other marine life. Instead, we wait for marine life to come to us.

How do we do this?
By positioning ourselves around areas where marine life naturally gathers, such as near sea turtles, which are part of the natural ecosystem. This allows us to observe wildlife in a more natural and sustainable way.

We are always working toward more environmentally friendly practices and reducing our impact on the ocean. Such as riding the huge schools of mobula rays to the orca next feeding grounds this help our carbon footprint in not using as much gas
