Stop waiting until your kids are grown to realize you were too busy working to actually be present. Too many fathers provide a paycheck while completely starving their homes of leadership, treating parenting like a checklist of rules instead of a mission to shape a human soul. Real fatherhood means refusing to parent out of raw frustration and unchecked fury, stepping up to lead with deliberate patience, and having the courage to look your kids in the eye and own your failures when you mess up.
If your home is running on autopilot and distance instead of deep discipleship, it’s time to wake up. As Ephesians 6:4 commands, do not exasperate your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. #Jesisfirst #realspill #fatherhood

There are people who join a team for a season, and then there are people who attach themselves to the mission and they leave a mark that lasts long after they’re gone. Angel was that person for RAG.

Another bittersweet transition, but we celebrate Angel as he begins a new chapter on the East Coast. While we’re sad that he won’t be with us physically anymore, we know this isn’t the end of his impact. Angel doesn’t just work for a mission. He carries it with him. We have no doubt he will continue to rescue this generation wherever God leads him.

Angel, thank you for the time, investment, and heart you poured into this organization. Thank you for believing in the mission, loving our students, serving our team, and giving your very best to the work. Your fingerprints are all over RAG, and we’re better for it.

We’re grateful for you, proud of you, and excited to watch what God does in this next season. We love you and appreciate you!

Go rescue a generation!

The Lie That Keeps You Stuck: “I’ll try to find time.”
Stop trying to FIND time. You will never find it. You have to MAKE it.

My client Angel is on the road. His days are “nuts.” He’s living out of a hotel. Most dads would use that as a hall pass to skip the workout, hit the drive-thru, and “start again Monday”.

But Angel realized something critical:
Your family doesn’t need a dad who “finds” time for his health. They need a leader who makes it.

The Psychology of the Shift:
When you say you’ll “find time,” you’re telling your brain that your health is a disposable luxury, something you’ll do only if there’s leftover energy.

But as a provider, your health is your primary tool. If the tool is broken, you can’t lead, you can’t protect, and you can’t be present.

Angel didn’t have a perfect 2-hour window. He had:
• A hotel gym.
• A chaotic schedule.
• A choice to be the example his kids deserve.

Discipline isn’t about having a perfect life. It’s about owning your capacity even when the day is falling apart.

We had the pleasure of spending time with an incredible group of students, and it was truly an amazing experience. It’s always an honor to be a small part of their journey and to witness their stories unfold. Moments like these remind us how impactful it is to show up, connect, and invest in the next generation.

The hill doesn’t get flatter while you stand at the bottom.

You can spend weeks planning the perfect route or you can just start climbing. Most people stay stuck at the base because they are waiting for the challenge to look smaller. It never does. The only way to change your perspective is to change your position.

Stop negotiating with your goals. Stop waiting for the perfect conditions. The work stays the same whether you start today or a year from now.

Take the first step. Build the momentum. Transform your health and performance from the inside out.
