Care about people more than profit.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Meet Dami (@littlemissyapsalottt), a political, cultural commentator and member of our New Economy Influencers Collective.

We set up this programme to launch a new UK community of influencers, supported by the Rethinking Economics International staff team, to sharpen economic communication skills, challenge mainstream narratives, and share new ideas online.

In the video, Dami shares how the programme shaped her content, built her peer network, and deepened her understanding of economics.

Changing how economics is taught and practised takes more than well-made arguments. We need people on all fronts questioning old assumptions and bringing critical and pluralist economics into communities that already trust them. That’s why our new 5-year strategy puts narrative leadership front and centre.

Keir Starmer resigned. This is performative change, not a change in Politics.

The Labour machine that allowed Keir Starmer to be Keir Starmer is still alive and well.

This is a reaction to fears about the party’s ability to hold onto power and maintain the status quo, not an acknowledgement of British people’s concerns about the governments failure that we shared throughout Kier Starmer’s premiership.

One person will not save us. It’s what surrounds the party, who funds the work and the culture setting the norms of what is acceptable that is important.

And that’s why the Greens are different. We are powered by the people and are accountable only to the people.

What a phenomenal day out door knocking in Brixton Windrush - we took 10 teams out all day and knocked on hundreds of doors all over the ward before a well deserved pint 🍺

And as if the message of hope wasn’t loud enough on the doorstop we had @greenpartyzack stop by to rally the troops. And his message is this: we have two weeks left and we can turn Lambeth council green. 💚

So if you’ve ever thought about helping out, now is the time! Drop me a DM to find out how you can help! ✨
