You never know where life will take you. Just continue to wake up, acknowledge God, in all you do, walk in your purpose and stand tall in your truth. Whatever life threw at you, you made it through!! My Moms legacy lives on, through all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I still respect her wishes my voice will not be used for “secular music”, I’m telling my life story in a very creative way, and my heritage and Louisiana culture in a major way. #angelfrombirth #family #4of9 #trailride #floatlife @BigRico @T.O.N.E. This made my heart smile and tears just started rolling. “So Far” was just released. It’s the TRUTH, I didn’t know why I needed to tell this part of OUR STORY! There would be NO ALBUM, if it wasn’t for Zelda Thomas!! To wake up and see that song has out numbered all 33 songs I released proves my sis, my right hand, My love, my heart beat outside my chest, my sister, my sounding board, WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!! So many people asked for the release just know she said what she said to me about that album.

Now I’m going to admit, she told me NOT to put a specific song on my album and to change the name of the song, pretty much “no DIVA DON’T do that song that’s wrong”. I didn’t put it on the album and I changed to name oh BUT I DID PUT IT OUT!!

IFYKYK!!

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, I miss you, I haven’t built up the courage to pull that memory card out that camera just yet, or look at any videos other than what in my phone.

As hard as it is to live this life without you. As hard as it is to walk in my shop. I find solace and peace in doing what you told me to do. Doing it has gotten easier, what you should have told me, was how God was going to snatch me to tell it all. I wasn’t ready for that part. There is SO MUCH MORE TO MY STORY!!

I love you to life, I’m grateful that you pushed me to this place. For the rest of my life, every thing I write, sing, record, arrange, produce I KNOW THAT IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!
