Monday at The Metropolitan ⛳️

An iconic Sandbelt track that delivered in every way, especially those greenside bunkers keeping everyone honest.

Great to see the group sharing tips, competing hard, and connecting off the course.

A standout moment: our fireside chat with @mattcassidy007 , unpacking what it really takes to build and manage wealth at the highest level.

Huge thank you to our sponsors, Partners Wealth Group, @kieseraustralia, @murdochwebster, and @exactigolf , for helping make our biggest VIC event yet a success.

The most asked about shot is the stinger (closely followed by the Thai spinner)

What is it? Generally using a 2 iron the stinger is a low flying penetrating golf shot designed for accuracy in certain conditions.

How is it different? The ball launches very low, climbing only slightly before flattening out into a piercing trajectory. It stays under the wind, lands hot, and runs aggressively down the fairway. There’s little curve and almost no ballooning up into the air, just a flat flight that seems to chase forever once it hits the ground.

How do we do it? Usually struck with a 2 iron using an abbreviated follow-through with our chest covering the ball. It does require significant ground pressure to help with stabilisation.

When should we use it? Tight driving holes, heavy wind, firm and fast conditions like we typically see in Melbourne.

Simple setup check- Ensure the handle of the club (grip end) starts just forward of the centre of the body. This means it will be on a small forward angle, not straight. It’s a small detail but an important one :)#gracelennongolf #callaway #gracelennon #golfing #golfinglife #golfingday #alwaysbegolfing #golfingaround #instagolfing #golfingworld #golfingfun #golfingbuddies #golfinggirls #golfingmachine #golfinggirl #golfingtime #golfingbuddy #golfingreport #alwaysgolfing #golfingtrip #golfcoaching #golflessons #golfpro #vicpga @callawaygolfaus @callawaygolf @wpgatour @pgagolf @melbgolfpark @wpgatour @pgatour @pgatouraus @adidasgolf @thegripmaster @speedgolfrob @flocon_engineering @teeituppod @sparms.official @exactigolf

⏩ SWIPE FOR VIDEO but first, let’s talk about Ball Position. It is the foundation of a consistent swing. Too far forward or back, and your contact, direction, and trajectory suffer. The Exactigolf aid helps you measure and lock in your ideal position for every club, making your setup repeatable, so your swing becomes reliable, round after round.

Throwing a ball? That’s what a good golf swing should feel like — according to @gracelennon_golf golf.

Many golfers make the mistake of trying to lift the ball, which leads to patchy shots. Grace explains it’s all about how your body moves: shifting your weight, starting from the ground up, and rotating through the swing. When you get that right, the ball launches naturally and smoothly.
