Moments from last week’s Ishtar Sink debut stream w/ my brother @exav0lt
-
Saul and I originally met at Basement in NYC. After learning more about each other’s interests and perspectives, we quickly became friends. Ishtar Sink represents a collaboration of both similar and complementary interests in a multidisciplinary format. Being both avid fans of the game Destiny, the concept felt like a fitting metaphor for both our eclectic interests.

Special thanks to @exav0lt for putting together this extraordinary opportunity; thanks also to @zachrichterr for help with production.

Oh we’re so back! And this time with our friends @rhythmcartelnyc and @singularity.nyc

No VIP culture. No bottle service energy. Just a room full of people who actually came to dance.

Known for championing emerging talent and building community through music, BKG brings its collective of selectors, producers, and residents together for an all-night journey through UK Garage, techno, house, breaks, bass, and underground club sounds.

Come early.
Leave late.
Bring someone who loves music.

One night. One room. One community.

Welcome to the BKG takeover.
See ya on the dance floor.

POSTER CHILD: WALTINI 🎱🎹🎲

Whether it’s Funky Jungle, Jersey House, or Grimy Techno, Waltini is sure to throw it down. Walitni’s tenacity on job experience, and vision for event organization is what makes him an incredible asset to any team he works with. He is a masterful Lighting Engineer with the ability to transform an empty, industrial warehouse into an electric, optical illusion. When behind the decks Waitini brings the pressure effortlessly traversing through genres with no uncertainty. Artists like Scalmeriya influence Waltini’s taste for dark, industrial techno while Daft Punk highlights a side far more groovy and playful. His uniqueness, quick wit, and expansive knowledge are the pillars of Waltini’s success. 🎸

POSTER CHILD: F!NK 🍒🐅🪩

When listening to F!NK the rules are, don’t fink, just dance. F!NK’s first love is dance. An advocate for freedom, self expression, and connection, you’re sure to find her scattered around NYC’s club community, in the middle of a dance-off with a stranger. F!NK is heavily inspired by ballroom vogue, hip hop, and ethnic dances from around the world encouraging all to move together to the universal beat; love. Behind the decks it’s guaranteed you’ll hear some dirty, deep cuts from Detroit, featuring artists like Moody Man and Omar S coupled with abstract, ro-minimal by Goneja76. F!NK is a wild card with a flirtatious, feminine energy whose sound resonates to all. 🐾

POSTER CHILD: Exav0lt 🖤💿🎶

If it’s a Saturday night there’s only one place you’re going to find Exav0lt. Stomping, sweating, and savoring in the main room at Club Basement NYC. Exav0lt thrives in the depths of the underground, where time and space cease to exist. A place where light is sparse, the air is thick, and the music is loud. Exav0lt will take you from heaven to hell in a matter of seconds with his expertise in blending and enormous track selection. From euphoric ambient, to gritty, dissociative techno influenced by artists like DVS1, Objekt, and Aphex Twin, Exav0lt does not fail to evoke emotions on the dance floor. 🎧
