POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This year brought unique challenges. Curating the stages meant navigating a landscape where many top artists were already booked, while many of LA’s jazz artists were bound by radius clauses from that now-infamous other jazz festival. Ultimately, this left many incredible artists without gigs and directly impacted their livelihoods.

As festivals come and go - or sometimes never happen at all - the @centralavenuejazz has remained committed to honoring, supporting, and celebrating the jazz community for 31 years.

Today, we hope you come and experience this incredible line up!

Thank you to our artists, community, partners, and supporters for continuing to carry this tradition forward. And a special thank you to CD9 and @currendpricejr and Councilmember Curren Price for always valuing and presenting this free and special event.

Lastly, BIG love to our Walk Talkin’ team @walktalkin . Their dedication, care, and commitment to this festival are truly second to none.
Teamwork = Dreamwork.
