‘It’s takes a village to raise a child’

@wahala_ie show coming together in the way it did in 6 weeks wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of everyone who showed up. And to be blessed with such an incredible team who flowed so effortlessly together.

Being an independent artist isn’t easy, but 3 years of sold out shows featuring zero waste design and sustainable approaches to not only producing the collection but also building community and safer working spaces is all the fuel to continue.

To the venue partners @thedean @exhale_studios to @dublin_ifw for giving independent designers/brands a platform to occupy.

To the artists @yourstrulytash @isac_with1a @fia.leather @by.mda who spoke so lovingly and gave so generously in the artist conversations we facilitated throughout the week leading up to the show. It was such a joy to see BlackIrish art installed throughout the hotel in the lead up. You’re all so phenomenal at what you do. And a reminder that even if we’re familiar there’s so much still to know of our own community and the incredible people in it.

17th-24th week in the lifeeeee ‼️

I’m not usually a yapper on here, but editing this made me feel soooo lucky to be working and spending time with so many of my favourite people week on week. Everyone in this vlog is so talented and driven and I’m truly blessed to be surrounded by individuals who inspire me daily. Appreciate you all <3

Here we are again, taking a moment to share my reminiscing

A tidal wave year, new place, new adventures, new friends, new ink, new partner in mischief 🐝

I try my best to cherish each day, each year as it happens though, some times it can be tricky when dealing with such pace. A life of momentum can feel hard to balance, with the craving of new moments, memories, learning and achievements.

This year I chose to exist, to love, to solve, to craft and to beee

Molly graduated ( goated ), Mam got to see Fred Again with the boys ( iconic ). Larry ( the snail ) was brought from a construction site for a walk through the hills to be left in greenery. Hanna completed certifications and got a new job and started her own business ( so proud ), we've travelled and crafted and sang. I doubled down, brought the team to Lisbon for a month, welcomed several new legends onboard, we've set an entire new trajectory for ourselves and continue to build in a way like no one else can ( grateful ).

To everyone that I've had the pleasure of sharing blood, sweat, tears, late nights, anxiety, moments, growth, stress, laughter, roofs, sunrises and food with, I adore you - never forget it

I've started a new 3 year cycle, and I'm still trying to understand what I'm going to do with it, the last 3 have been healing, foundations, work. I believe it's time for harvest, exploration and reignition - Im planning to dedicate more time to creativity again I'm drawing, about to pick up the guitar again and trying to figure out my next photography project.
