We won Best Story. 🏆🇧🇸

@thesilkwalkexperience began as an idea to use something deeply personal to me to create space for Bahamian creatives, designers and talent to be seen on a global stage.

Today, that story was recognized at the London Fashion Film Festival, and I’m still taking it all in.

To every designer, model, creative, producer, artist and person who trusted the vision and helped bring this story to life, this belongs to all of us.

Thank you to the @londonfashionfilmfestival for seeing the heart of this project and recognizing the story we set out to tell. To have Bahamian creativity celebrated on an international stage means so much.

From The Bahamas to London. We did that. 🇧🇸✨

P.S. The brown dress won 🤭 Got so many compliments thanks to my online fashion committee! Thank you for shopping up 🥰🌺 Thanks @prettylittlething 🤎

We’re back in action with Jack Bucker, our sound recordist! He has been a professional sound engineer for the past 8 years and has recently stepped out of the studio and into location sound recording. Some of his most recent projects include commercials for Lloyds Pharmacy and Debenhams, as well as an up-coming feature film, Sparrow’s Call.
