📬 Meet Moxie Mail ⚽️❤️A BRAND NEW monthly mental skills club for youth female soccer players age 7-12, delivered straight to her mailbox. Brought to you by @expandyourgame. Why we made it: since 2021 we’ve coached one player at a time. But there’s a limit to how many girls we can reach that way, and we want more of them to experience their own greatness. They CAN learn to stop overthinking, move past mistakes, and play with the freedom, joy, and confidence they already have inside. They just need some of the HOWs. ⚽🧡
Each month she gets a fun package of letters, wall art, stickers, and more, built around the mental skills tools that have helped hundreds of girls in our Mindset Mastery Academy build confidence, resilience, bravery, and mental toughness.
It stays simple: one theme and one tool each month, and no content ever repeats. Over time she builds a whole mental skills toolkit. There’s even a pen-pal element, where she can send in her own questions and get answers in Moxie Mail.

Easy for you. Powerful for her.

THE 90/10 | EP. 2 ⚽️ Everyone celebrates the goal, but what about everything that made it possible? The assist. The movement off the ball. The run that pulls defenders away. The player who creates space without ever touching the ball. Not every contribution shows up on the stat sheet, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t change the game. As players, teammates, and coaches, we need to recognize and celebrate those moments too. The game is bigger than just who scores. It’s about who makes it possible ⚽️ #SoccerIQ #BeyondTheGoal #PlayerDevelopment #soccer

Negative thoughts during a game? 🧠⚽️ One mistake doesn’t have to turn into five. Instead of dwelling on what just happened, ask yourself: “WHAT’S NEXT?” A simple mental skills tool to reset, refocus, and stay in the present moment.

What’s really motivating you? .. I’ve definitely been fueled by wanting to prove someone wrong. And honestly, sometimes that fire is exactly what you need. But I think as players, we have to check ourselves. Is our motivation coming from wanting someone else’s approval, or from genuinely wanting to see how far we can push ourselves? There’s room for both, but at the end of the day, the drive has to come from YOU.. I’ve learned this through the years Because when nobody’s watching, nobody’s praising you, and nobody’s doubting you… do you still want it ..? Something I’m constantly learning and reflecting on as a player. ⚽️ #BeingAPlayer #IntrinsicMotivation #AthleteMindset #PlayerDevelopment #SoccerMindset

You took the shot… but you KNOW there was a better pass. 👀 I’m calling this The 90/10… It’s not about passing more. It’s not about shooting less. It’s about recognizing the difference between your chance to score and our best chance to score .. which is big time ⚡️ Sometimes your shot IS the 90. Take it. Be dangerous. Be selfish. But when it’s not… can you recognize it fast enough? Can you give up your 10% for your teammate’s 90%? That’s maturity. That’s game IQ. That’s playing to win. Can you recognize the 90? That’s how championships are won. 🏆 #SoccerIQ #SoccerTraining #PlayerDevelopment #FootballIQ

1. Don’t skip strength training. You need a body that can handle the demands of the game. 2. Don’t only train when your coach tells you to. Your development is your responsibility. The extra touches, fitness, recovery, film, etc. all add up. 3. Don’t ignore recovery. Sleep, nutrition, mobility and rest are all part of training. 4. Don’t let one bad game affect your confidence. You’re going to have bad games and make mistakes. You must choose to learn from them, and move forward. 5. Don’t compare your timeline to someone else’s. Everyone’s path looks different. Focus on becoming better than the player you were yesterday. - @hadler19 🤍
