Our shoot for #RedAlertMovie in #washingtondc was better than we could’ve imagined. There were signs that things were falling out of place the days - hours - leading up to the shoot August 3rd. My camera op cancelled the day before, the proprietor of my desired location went ghost, talent began to cancel out of pandemic fears...that, combined with pandemic travel uncertainty was enough to throw my hands in the air. But nah, this is just WAY too important. I kept a positive attitude and knew that everything would work out for the best. When it was all said and done, it worked out even better! I feel so blessed to have spoken with four truly amazing women who shared their fibroid and endometriosis journeys with me, knowing it was for a greater good.
