What does a sacred place sound like?

Since September 25, The Sacred Place of the Most High has held you with scent. On Saturday, October 17, the room gets a voice.

BSA Gold is a producer and multi-instrumentalist from Washington, DC, now making work in Chicago. With electronics and flute, she reaches for the same things this room was built to hold: spirituality, love, and understanding. Bring someone you love, and stay after the last note.

Doors at 6 PM. Music at 7 PM.

Highlife on Vinyl was nothing short of an incredible experience for everyone involved, and for each person that got a chance to live in it! 4 hours of 40+ years worth of some of the best records to ever be pressed on wax! 🇬🇭🇳🇬🇨🇮

It was a labor of love digging through the family crates and reliving moments far forgotten, but very priceless preparation process.

Special thanks for @jazzcrates for bringing me on to curate a special edition of the Jazz on vinyl event.

If you were there thank you! If you missed it stay tuned with me, more Highlife energy to come! 😏🗓️

Blessed to attend the inaugural food event at the OPC. A panel of Chicago chefs shared their thoughts on the role of food in culture, migration, tradition and values. Post panel tastings included samples from Ethiopia to Mexico, the Middle East to Mediterranean plus American favs of BBQ, sandwiches, Louisiana style shrimp, hibiscus tea, carrot cake and very cool ice cream. #Obamapresidentialcenter #foodandtheamerican story #foodisculture #goodthingstoeat

Have you gotten the chance to experience Ruby yet?? It’s one of my favorite Fine Hibiscus Teas 🫖🌺 @experienceruby made freshly here in Chicago.

I had to stop by @strugglebeardbakery during @xlfilmfestival and purchase myself a bottle to celebrate the premiere of South Shore Sonata😆🎬

Six months ago these entrepreneurs came to The Hatchery with food business ideas and determination. Through the Incubation Cohort coaching, education, and supportive community, they solidified business plans, completed required licensing, and pitched their final products to their fellow cohorts and industry expert judges.

They entered with bold ideas and leave as proven builders. Keep your eyes on this cohort, they're just getting started. 💫✨
