Spring so far 🌸🌼🏵

A little bit of nature. A little bit of work. A little bit of concerts, wine, laughter, sunshine and pool days.
Truthfully though... most of spring has looked like me sitting behind a laptop. 😂

One thing that's stayed consistent, no matter how busy life gets, is starting and ending my day with some form of alignment practice.

Sometimes that's breathwork. Sometimes meditation. Sometimes movement, exercise, journaling, gratitude, or simply sitting in stillness.

Why? Because when I take care of myself first, I show up as a better leader, friend, partner and human. And from that place, some really exciting things are being created:

• The Magnetic Founder, a free weekly community for female founders who want to lead with more intuition, confidence, alignment and less burnout. If that sounds like you, send me a message.

• Innerbloom at Arvo (August 21-23), a retreat for women who are ready to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and step into their next chapter with more clarity and ease. I honestly cannot wait for this one.

• And lots of exciting things happening at Freedom Jars, including some new high-protein breakfast jars designed to fuel your mornings and workouts.

Owning a business has taught me that pushing harder is not always the answer. Sometimes the answer is actually to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

So many women carry a lot. Work, responsibilities, pressure, people needing things from us. We handle it, but it can pull us away from ourselves over time.

That’s a big part of why I created Innerbloom this August at Arvo Retreat. A 3-day retreat for women who need space to reset, feel grounded again, and tap back into their inner power.

We’ll be surrounded by nature on 30 beautiful acres, with breathwork, forest bathing, sauna and cold plunge, yoga, journaling, art therapy, and real connection.

I truly believe there is a different kind of strength that comes when a woman allows herself to soften, rest, and receive. We get to access our feminine power, a type of power that gets things moving with less force and more heart.

If this is calling you, comment ARVO for the link to apply or check the link in bio.

Moms, when was the last time you planned something just for you?

And what happened when it was time?

Did it suddenly feel like you were needed for everything at the exact same time? Was it hard to follow through? Did you?

Somewhere along the way, we picked up this belief that love is sacrifice and good moms are *always* there for your kids.

That "they're only young once" sounds so nice, but it puts a lot of pressure on moms. Like you’re supposed to be there for every... sick day, milestone, or need.

And if you’re not… something must be wrong with you.

But let’s get real.

No one can do that. Not sustainably. And the risk is losing yourself in the mix.

Yet, so many moms expect it of themselves and carry for much guilt for it.

It's ok to need a break.
To be tired.
Even to want to not be touched for more than 30 seconds. 😁

If you crave feeling more like yourself again.... It isn’t about doing more. It's doing less. And being present to yourself more often.

Choose yourself more often. Fulfill on the commitments and plans you made for you.

Even when it feels uncomfortable and others need things from you.

It builds your trust with yourself.
But also teaches your kids that you're your own person too. Not just their mom. 💜

Thank you @explorearvo for what's already a gorgeous time breathing in the air, taking in the sky, connecting with the land, and grounding. ✨🙏🏼
