In these perilous times we’re living in, there are few things more wholesome than celebrating the lives of the ones you love. And you, ma’am, are very loved. We had an impromptu house party in Harlem until the police came and shut us down. (They said it sounded lit tho 😂) Happy Birfday, @mspride_producedit!!! You deserved every toast, every shot, and every dance.

Caribbean HERitage Dinner Wi Deh Yah 💚

What happens when powerful women gather to celebrate Caribbean excellence? Pure MAGIC. Our inaugural Caribbean HERitage Awards honored the incredible @__sharibrown @tiffainels , @stikxz and @mamanegril who graced us with their presence, along with three phenomenal women we celebrated in spirit Charmaine Gumbs of @bklynsugar , Charissa Benjamin @charissa_b of Savor PR, and the incomparable Chef Nina Compton @ninacompton .

The energy in that room was something else. Vulnerable stories shared, genuine connections made, and inspiration flowing freely. This event felt like it was the beginning of a community.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing presenters @kingronthedon , @eatokratheapp , @chefosmith , and @camari_mick and our closing remarks from @camille_hastick you all added that special touch that had our honorees surprised.

Special thanks to @casadeflorabar for transforming the space, @chez_omars for feeding our belly, @cremeglaceenyc for that sweet but tangy spiked with rum soursop sorbet, @fotodiaspora for capturing these beautiful moments, @foreignbass_garth for juggling the tunes and @exploringeurila for the stunning recap video that perfectly captured the essence of the evening. And we can’t forget @caribshopper for those beautiful gift box invitations that set the tone for our honorees!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up with open hearts ready to receive. This is just the beginning
