SEAside Radio is back again with a fresh dose of Southeast Asian dancefloor bangers, ranging from Vinahouse and Budots to everything in between at our mothership @bsidedotradio.

@ethnicdad invites the underground’s 🆙&coming highBPM DJ @export2mp3 to Filipino-maxxing the dancefloor with a set packed with Filipino classics and edits that are certified bangers at Filipino parties. Bringing that same high-energy spirit we usually pray for on the warehouse dancefloor because sometimes it’s cool to be goofy and just have fun with it.

for this month’s WANDERLUST trip with @bsidedotradio airlines, your usual host is seems to be away… so taking over this month’s trip is @export2mp3!

wholly internet-born genre, vaporwave began as an experimental take on sample-based music in the early 2010s. as it grew in popularity online, it took form as a genre that blended music from the 80s and 90s with a surreal and dreamlike aesthetic that nostalgized pasts and futures that never existed. vaporwave’s soundscapes are vast and wide, with producers taking inspiration from a wide variety of genres including lounge music, chopped & screwed, trap, ambient, city pop, and more.

some of vaporwave’s earliest producers include @eccopn , @vektroid , and @james._ferraro ; other significant vaporwave figures include @ddsnuwrld , telepath, and Vancouver’s own @blank_banshee.

ervin is one of my favorite dj’s in van and i’m really glad to hand them intercom mic and guide our guests along this digital trip of vaporwave !
