Ecuador is a country most associated with the Equator and the Galápagos Islands, but it’s much more than that! Ecuador is a relatively small country compared to its neighbors like Colombia or Peru, but that is a huge benefit for us, travelers. In a relatively short time, you can swim in the ocean, climb the majestic volcanos, explore the jungle, or see the most biodiverse place on earth. The mainland can be divided into six parts plus the Galapagos Islands. During our stay, we limited our journey to the middle stripe which covers 3 regions (Northern Highlands, Central Highlands, Cuenca & the Southern Highlands).

On top of all that amazing landscape and vast biodiversity we also need to mention Spanish architecture, Inca Empire history, and last but not least the local people. One of the most rewarding parts of our travels is the possibility to encounter locals and Ecuador was no exception. We feel so lucky that have met truly amazing, warm, and hospitable people during our three weeks stay, and with some of them, we are planning to meet in the future.

Max & I came back to the US on September 1st, 2021 - but we were still in the mountains for some time. The luxury of unplugging & camping off the grid, paddle boarding mishaps, bald eagle spotting, one of my favorite hikes ever, and big news from Leavenworth (which I’ll probably actually detail in another post) are up now! See it all on CMWtravel.exposure.co

Probably evident by now, but we love the northwest. Adventures and climates up here are so diverse that I almost felt a little weird lumping these weeks together, the unifier here being only that they are in the same part of the country! From etherial mist and endless greenery of coastal OR to red volcanic soil and desert-like sunsets inland, as well as our journey through the redwood forests in CA, my next journal entry is here!🌲More photography & our experience on CMWTRAVEL.exposure.co #toldwithexposure

We named it, the Unit of Mass because; Mass deals with weight, the amount of weight in objects.

Weight and ultimately, Force. His name holds a lot of weight and the the force is within him.

Therefore we bring to you, the Unit of Mass. (Link in Bio)
