HUGE EXTENSION FIX!

Has anyone else left their extension appointment feeling unfulfilled?

Not in my chair!

Please book a consult if you have any questions. I want to make your hair dreams a reality.

ALSO, your head should not hurt after an install!!!! That means they are too tight and you will probably experience hair loss.

Paying for the best application method was so worth it.
Invest in yourself and spread the love.

New hair: @bellamihairpro (firecracker flex weft 20in)
Vivid bath: @pulpriothair + @brazilianbondbuilder
Base color: @kevinmurphyhair
Install method: @invisiblebeadextensions
Products: @leafandflowerhair & @brazilianbondbuilder

These three common things may be why you’re not getting what you want out of your extensions based business.

1. This seems like a no brainer.. you’re not properly educated.
Don’t get me wrong! Certification is important!
But just because you have a certification doesn’t mean you’re qualified to take on full paying guests.
Once you get your education it’s up to you to keep practicing, learning, and working out the kinks.
Clients will not stay where there is no growth in your skill set.

2. You don’t post on social media. And when you do it feels “salesy”.
90% of my guests come from social media because I produce educational content that builds trust with the client. Show more under the hood shots, transformation WIP videos, and techniques to build confidence in your audience.
This is your portfolio, remember??

3. You don’t provide solutions based techniques.
Everyone loves a mermaid but not everyone wants to be a 24” blonde bombshell!
Some people just want to feel “normal” and have conditions like alopecia, trichotillomania, hormone issues, and others that prevent them from growing hair in areas most extensions cannot go.
Learning multiple methods to support the full needs of your extension clientele is the best way to serve them.

If you’d like to learn more, hmu in my DMs to book a one on one with me! I can customize a program for you based on what you’re trying to accomplish in your extensions career.

Thanks for supporting my lil IG account and biz. ILY 🤟🏽

Gnarly root touch up and summer tone by the ever impeccable @hairatbs @darktreeforest If you don't know how impressive this After/Before actually is, take my word for it - the woman is an artist.

Finding balance can be hard in this industry.

Especially with the pressure from clients, family, coworkers, and even yourself and your own goals.

This is just a reminder to take a break every once in awhile and find a place of peace for yourself.

For some that means a week off of work with family,
For others it may be just an hour alone in their own thoughts.

Whatever it is for you, make some space for yourself.

You’ll be a better hairstylist, friend, partner, and parent if you do.

Promise.

Bit the bullet and got bangs finally. @hairatbs did a phenomenal job on my entire haircut, the bangs were just a little late to the party.
•
I have a consultation video surrounding them coming that you’ll wanna see! Aren’t these perfect. A huge thank you to my amazing and talented friend for giving me my dream modern emo shag bangs.
.
Wet your bangs down, apply a light mousse, get your brush - I’m using a 5 row Denman which is my favorite - flat wrap first to remove excess water and get them to lay flat then structure but over directing each side to get that swoopy look. I finished with a texture spray to get the middle a bit more defined than the rest. Spray in hands first to get the product warm and more workable.

It’s my goal to give every guest their dream hair, no matter what.

And if I can’t do it, I’ll help you find someone who can.

Providing the right solutions to fit the needs of what your clientele requires more than a one size fits all approach to hair extensions.

It’s my opinion that If you only know one method of extensions, you’re not meeting the needs of what each guest requires for their individual issues.

I believe this is doing your clientele an extreme disservice.

If you’re interested in learning more about one or more extension methods in my area of expertise, hmu for a one on one customized extension training.

In my 25+ years of working with hair extensions I have learned:

✨Mesh integration
✨Pinch braids
✨Braided weft
✨Beaded handtied
✨Hidden row
✨Itip
✨Ktip
✨Tape in
✨Micro ktip customization
✨Combline
✨Vlight
✨Dread extensions

If you want more information about any of these I would love to help you out! DM me the word TEACH to sign up!

If you’re wanting to know the first step to begin with extensions I would highly recommend you sign up for a @bellamihairpro masterclass at their website and use my code MACKENZMC to save !!

This masterclass is 2 full days including lunch and you’ll learn 5 different application methods with 7 different Bellami extension types to add to your service menu!

It’s been my favorite class I’ve ever taken to date.
